Memkrias hurridly move forward to catch up with everyone else, she did't know what was going to happen or where they were going... indeed she wondered if it was a good idea to leave the oasis area. Then she heard water being mentioned and she wonder why on earth no one had bothered drinking while they were at a nice pool just a short while ago.. shesh and she was called dim by some she knew, at least she had the good sense to drink if she was thirsty. Memkrias wondered what sort of a group she was now following that lacked the sense to drink when in front of water.

"Think we all need to get used to each other and, well all these odd things that the others seem to have. Is there anything about you two that I should know, something that might just pop out at any time ?"
Bakari laughed lightly before replying.
"Oh yeah. We definitely need to all get used to each other. That much is obvious. Olm and me grew up in the same pride. We know each other pretty well." The lioness continued with a smile. "Just be warned that sometimes we can get a little crazy sometimes. But its not like we can't be serious at all." Bakari glanced at the liard. "Don't worry. It's nothing like her." She whispered so nobody could hear.

Ayesha was a bit offended that she got pushed away from the lion, she wasn't doing anything to hurt the fox, it wasn't like she was going to eat it or anything, besides she wasn't that impressed with having to fight through layers of fur to get to any real meat..
Ignoring all those behind her, the liard tuned out to any noise and just let her nose do the walking, her paws carried her but the aromas of that around her made her choose which way she turned.
Her eyebrows rose, her nose started to twitch and tail with the impressive white fur ball swung from side to side, Ayesha dug in her paws and moved forward faster than ever, a new smell had reached her nostrils and she needed her eyes to see what possibilities it bought.

Phrixus continued to follow Ayesha. For now, she seemed to be done with annoying the fox and just walked silently, and he began to wonder what was on her mind... if anything. Then she suddenly ran off as fast as she could.
"Where is she going?" He wondered.
He darted after Ayesha trying to go as fast as he could without the fox falling off.

At first Isha had been resting peacefully on Phrixus' back, the next thing she knew she had to cling on his mane as tight as she could or she'd fall off.
"Phh-h-r-ri-i-x-xxx-us!!" she called in panic at the lion while she literally pounded up and down on his back and only clung to his mane with her front paws.
"S-s-sl-ow-d-d-ow-n-nn!"

Memkrias walked after the others, trailing behind, she was still puzzled by the lion and was thinking, and it was't like it required any great concentration to follow. She was't sure there was any particular direction they were heading either, it just seemed to be point and walk.

Ayesha's paws started pounding at the ground beneath her, leaves and dirt seemed to scatter as she ran. Lowering her head she pushed through some bushes in her way, not even noticing that she left white fur strands behind fluttering in the breeze as she made her way forward.
With her nose twitching, the liard opened her mouth and took a breath of fresh air, there before her was water. Not bothering to see if anyone was behind her, she went charging into the water, submerging herself and then just floated.

Olmurani stared for a moment at the dashing cat. She sure was in a sudden hurry to get somewhere.
"What happened to 'this is not a race'?" Olmurani said, smiling.
Bakari smiled back at him. "I don't know but I'll bet I can beat you to wherever shes going."
Without giving Olmurani time to think, Bakari darted off in the same direction as Ayesha. Olmurani went after her. When Bakari had finally caught up, she slid to a sudden stop at the waters edge. Not even one second passed before Olmurani came up behind her quickly.
"Gotcha!" He yelled as he tackled her into the water, both of them splashing in with Ayesha.

Phrixus quickly slowed down from a sprinting speed, to a jogging speed.
"Sorry, I'm still figuring out how fast I can go without you falling off."
Phrixus kept moving, but Ayesha had disappeared from sight. He wondered where she had gone, but then heard a splash and followed the sound.
"Finally! my mouth was getting dry." He said as they approached the water.
He picked up the fox and took her off his back, putting her on the ground since they were done walking for now. He leaned down and started drinking the when all of a sudden two more from the group jumped into the water and soaked him.

Pizeera watched the two, it looked like the female was the one who talked the most out of them.

As he kept listening she saw the lioness Bakari glance at the liard, and then she lowered her voice even more.
"Don't worry. It's nothing like her." .
Bringing up his head, all he could do was nod at her and then he gave the lion besde her another look.
"Could be worse you know, we could have another bad tempered female with us like the fox up ahead, at least you know she will be giving us some amusement."

Ayesha lay in the water feeling all her anxiousness disapear, here she was cool, calm and collected.
Suddenly waves of water washed over her face at the same time she had opened her mouth to take a breath. Feeling it go up her nostrils as well as in her mouth, she tried to take a breath but started sinking, her eyes widening as she went under.

Phrixus watched the others swim around, debating whether or not he should go in too. He decided he might as well, he was already wet from the others jumping in and splashing him anyway. He jumped in and floated around on his back looking up in the sky. He turned his head for a moment and saw Ayesha with her eyes wide open sinking down into the water. He swam over and grabbed her paw, pulling her back up to the surface.
"Can't have you drowning on us. We've just barely started our walk, and I'd hate for it to be cut short."

Isha wasn't feeling very well when Phrixus finally stopped and placed her back on the ground. Her head felt dizzy, and she thought she could throw up any moment. She couldn't even stand the thought of everyone in the water, it made her feel worse.
Food. She decided she needed some food, and quick. Food always made her feel better when she felt dizzy, and she hadn't really eaten for a while either.
That decided, she got up on her feet and gazed around. A smirk came to her face when she noticed a quite rotten branch under one of the trees. It had fallen some time ago, and normally no one would have even paid attention to it, but the fennec knew it was a perfect place for her to search for a potential lunch. She padded over to the branch with her fluffy tail swooshing from side to side. It seemed that in search for food she was completely oblivious to the fact that she had been stepped on not too long ago.
Isha stopped when she was right next to the branch and pointed her large ears towards it. She tilted her head and listened, ignoring the sounds that the others were making. In a flash she pounced over the branch and disappeared from sight. She placed her paws on the branch and tugged the bark off with her teeth, causing a faint, ripping sound. She then began to munch the small insects she had heard with great pleasure.

Just when Ayesha thought she could hold her breath no longer someone grabbed her paw and pulled her up through the water till at last her head broke the surface and she coughed loudly while trying to gasp in fresh air.
"Can't have you drowning on us. We've just barely started our walk, and I'd hate for it to be cut short."
Turning towards the voice, while her paws found some solid ground to clench onto, Ayesha blinked as water droplets still found it's way from her white fur tuft running down her face into her eyes, it was Phrixus who stood before her, water swirling around his body.
Staring at him she broke into a smile
" You did listen to me before when I showed you all what to do if I went under.. thankyou."
Looking around her, Ayesha saw who was in the water and then glanced away seeing Pizeera and the lioness sitting waiting, but she couldn't see the foxy anywhere.
" Where is she, what have you done with foxy, ...she's not under the water still, she's missing !"

Pizeera lay down watching what was happening, he wasn't in the mood to get wet, he had to smell really bad before he would get in and wash himself, so for now it wasn't happening, at all.
From the corner on his eye he saw the fox start to wander off.
so much for her tail being so sore she couldnt walk anywhere, another one faking
then watching she disapeared from sight, looking back at the others, no on seemed to notice, so he just lay there with his head on his front paws relaxing.

The two lions came up from the water, laughing, they looked at each other and Bakari put a paw on Olmuranis chest and pushed him gently. Then the two of them saw Phrixus pulling Ayesha out of the water. She was coughing.
" You did listen to me before when I showed you all what to do if I went under.. thankyou."
"Are you alright?" Bakari asked.

"What are you talking about? She's right over...." Basilisk looked back and paused when he couldn't see Isha. "Well, never mind then, shes gone."
"Did any of you see where she went?" he asked, addressing the entire group.

Isha's ears perked up and she stopped chewing for a moment. The liard clearly had noticed she was missing. Isha grinned, then lowered her head and grabbed another mouthful of insects. Boy, the tasted soooo good...
"Did any of you see where she went?"
Isha rolled her eyes and sighed, swallowing her food before grabbing yet more bugs. She then stood up on her hind legs and placed both of her front paws on top of the branch. She could now see the group, and she was certain that if they looked her way they'd see her.
The fennec grinned mischievously when an idea came to her, and she began speaking with her mouth still full of squirming insects.
"Ah'm 'ere. Ah w's h'ngry."

As Ayesha swung around looking for Isha she heard the lioness speak, asking if she was alright, pausing for a moment she stared at her, blinking as if to clear her vision.
"me..I'll live, guess I need to keep my mouth closed more often it seems."
Giving Bakari a weak smile, she then turned back to the others
" SO WHERE IS SHE ?"
Just as the liard's eyes reached Pizeera, she saw something pop up from behind a tree.Tilting her head to one side Ayesha took a few steps closer and then stopped, she had found foxy, but what was hanging out of her mouth, had she hurt herself and the contents of her tummy had come into her throat and trying to escape?.
Still puzzled she took another few steps and could hear some sort of noise coming from the foxs mouth. Scared now that the fox was actually choking to death Ayesha lept over to the log and grabbed the fox in her front paws, and held her upside down shaking her, yelling at the same time.
"Let it all fall out foxy, and then take a deep breath, hurry up and breathe."

Bakari smiled back at her half hearted smile. Now to look and see if they could find the fox.
Olmurani looked around as he swam to the shore.
"Ah'm 'ere. Ah w's h'ngry."
He heard the muffled sound over by the tall grass and began walking towards the little head that popped up over the grass. Ayesha had gotten to her first thought. She had gotten there in quite a hurry. Suddenly, Olmurani was astounded to see that the liard had now picked up the little fennec and held her upside down.
"Let it all fall out foxy, and then take a deep breath, hurry up and breathe."
"Oh shoot!" Olmurani exclaimed as he turned around. "She's choking!" He shouted to the others.
"Does anybody know what to do?..." He looked back at Ayesha shaking Isha around. "... Uhh.. better than that?" He added.
Soon, Bakari was out of the water and walked over as quickly as she could to see what was happening.
"Goodness! Don't shake her brains out." She said with concern for the well-being of Isha.
