Memkrias was watching things going on, no one was paying her the slightest attention, the others had seemingly gone off to see where the silly fox creature was, pff how dull she thought to herself. She wondered over to were the grumpy lion was, the only one who did't seem the slightest interested in the foxes ability to move by herself and swung round in front of him.

A big grin went over her face and she exclaimed to Pizeera "Hey hansom, whats a girl got to do to get a big strapping lion to wash her sexy back for her? Do I need to drag you to the water first?"

She made big puppy eyes at him before adding "Come on, please wash my back, its all itchy and I know you'd like to do it!"
She did't particular expect he would, but hey.. who knows and well she was feeling bored.

Well that was nice. Her idea hadn't worked out at all like she had thought. Instead she now found herself being violently shaken by the liard, all the while the cat was screaming her to breathe.

"Goodness! Don't shake her brains out."

That was exactly how it felt like. Ayesha was literally shaking her brains out while her head hung upside down and the world was very much a blur. This had to stop and quickly, otherwise the liard would either cause her serious brain damage or snap her neck.

Isha spat out the bugs she had had in her mouth, and growled angrily. Ayesha was over reacting so much though that she couldn't form any words to tell everyone she was all right. And so there was only one thing she could do.

With a quick twist of her small body the fennec managed to bring her head towards Ayesha's paws, and without a second thought she sunk her small, sharp teeth into the liard's paw.

"Let it all fall out foxy, and then take a deep breath, hurry up and breathe."

"Wait Ayesha, I don't think she's choking, and if she was you wouldn't help her by doing that."

Ayesha didn't hear him, and she kept shaking Isha. He run up to her to make her stop, but was a little too late. Isha spat out the food and bit into Ayesha's paw.

Ayesha stood there shaking the fox, but then looked up at everyone standing there staring at her with strange looks on their faces.

"WHAT .....WHAT ?"

Wait Ayesha, I don't think she's choking

Just as the words reached her ears, she felt a sharp stinging pain hit her paw and run up her limb. Instinct took over and Ayesha bought her paw up and threw the fox off and away, at the same time she saw blood running down and dripping onto the ground.
Looking back up bewildered, her eyes locked onto the fluffy fox flying in slow motion towards where the others stood.

Pizeera lay there and kept watching, the smirk on his face kept getting bigger and bigger until he was actually laughing at the liard and fox.
"I didn't expect this journey of ours to be so entertaining"

Next thing he knew what he was looking at was blocked when the lioness Memkria stood in front of him.

Pizeera sighed a little bit and stood to his paws
"well come on lets head to the water."
Following her to the edge, he stopped and then accidentially on purpose gave her a shove, watching as she went head first into the water.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going, but at least you're all clean now."

Laying down back from the water a bit, he looked up to see the fox tumbling through the air.

Memkrias got the shock of her poor life as one moment she was on the edge of the water and next she was flying head first into it with a splash! Submerging under the water she caught the least you clean now bit, she came up quite a bit further away from the shore with such a shocked face and dripping water all down her face.

Glancing round she saw the mean one staring at the fox and a evil glit flashed in her eyes as she grinned and submerged under the water... only her tail slightly and deliberated sticking out of the water and start moving towards him.

((ooc: insert jaws music ))

Suddenly as she got to the bank she leaped out of the water with a "raaarrhhhh" dragging a good deal of water with her and landed over the lion. legs either side on him. Still grinning evilly she says "Why thankyou for that wash, let me make sure you're nice and clean too!" as she hugged onto his back, all the water washing off her dripping fur onto the lion, making sure he was getting wet too.

Isha had thought Ayesha would just let go of her, but no... Then again, since when would the liard have done as she expected?

This was what was in her mind when she was flung through the air. She couldn't really control her "flight" as she was twisting and turning uncontrollably. To protect herself from being hit on a strange angle, she curled up into a ball, hoping that she wouldn't hit a tree or any of the group members. Water would be perfect, though that wasn't on the top of her list of places where she wanted to fall.

The fennec's flight finally stopped when she hit a bush not too far from the water's edge. The bush shook and the fox disappeared inside it, causing some leaves to come loose and scatter around. She rolled at the ground under the bush for a while, then came to a halt. She was breathing heavily, not daring to move for a while until she was sure she hadn't broken anything.

Isha flattened her ears and released a furious growl, strangely loud for someone so small. She crawled out of the bush just enough so that everyone could see her and so that she could see everyone - especially Ayesha. She glared at the liard with narrowed eyes. Her fur stood up and she kept growling on a very threatening manner.

"THAT HAD BETTER BE THE LAST TIME YOU PULL A STUNT LIKE THAT, YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A CAT!!" she barked.
"I SWEAR IF YOU EVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT, IF YOU EVEN TOUCH ME, IT'S THE LAST THING YOU DO IN YOUR PATHETIC LIFE!"

As Ayesha watched, the fox seemed to do all these funny little movements while rolling over and over.
' maybe it's all her fur, making her aerodynamic, she flies like the wind, quite impressive really and rather attractive when you think about it ..

Blinking fast, the liard kept staring when she saw small branches and leaves part company and foxy disapear into the middle. When the sharp noise had stopped and no screaming had begun, Ayesha went to move forward to see how she was, but putting her paw back down on the ground made her gasp, pain still shot up her limb.

Pushing on she took another step but halted when Isha crawled out, leaves and dirt clinging to her, but then to Ayesha's astonishment she started berating her.. her of all felines.. she had saved her from choking with whatever had been stuck in her mouth, and now she was being yelled at and verbally abused.

"THAT HAD BETTER BE THE LAST TIME YOU PULL A STUNT LIKE THAT, YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A CAT!!" ."I SWEAR IF YOU EVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT, IF YOU EVEN TOUCH ME, IT'S THE LAST THING YOU DO IN YOUR PATHETIC LIFE!"

Tilting her head to one side and then the other, still staring at the fox, limping , Ayesha moved her body ever so slowly to where Isha was still standing. Stopping in front of her the liard dropped down to the ground making sure she didn't touch her in any way and met her eyes.

"I didn't mean to hurt you, I thought you were choking and I wanted to help, that's all. Was that so wrong of me, looking out for your welfare, no one else is. You're so small and can easily damage... I apologise, I'll do better next time."

Pushing herself up to her paws once more trying not to cringe, Ayesha made to move past her, but stopped once more, reached for the flowers that were still in her white fur tuft and carefully dropped them onto the fox's fur. Carrying on towards the water, Ayesha turned back looking over her shoulder and spoke to the fox.

"When you're ready, just let me know and I'll help you back up on that lions back."

Olmurani and Bakari watched the whole ordeal with the liard being bitten and as the fox flew through the air, landing in a bush. Her words were spoken in a very angry tone. This little fox had been through a lot this day.

But when the liard spoke in a more serious tone, the two lions were caught off guard. Up until now, the cat had not shown any sign of a serious side at all. Her words were solemn and earnest. In spite of her actions a few moments ago, she seemed hurt by the fox.

Olmurani and Bakari looked at each other and the lion spoke to his female friend in a low whisper.
"Do you think she'll be ok?"

"Which one are you talking about?" Bakari replied.

"Well.. both." Olmurani said.

Bakari looked at the two as Ayesha left the flowers on Isha. Both of them had been hurt in one way or another.

"I'll talk to them." Olmurani continued.

"Wait. I'll go talk to Isha. You talk to Ayesha." was Bakaris reply.

Olmurani nodded and padded over to walk next to Ayesha while Bakari sat next to the Isha. Both of the lions shared a sympathetic heart and the desire to help others when they had been hurt. Whenever there was a rivalry or something, both of them always wanted to help mend relationships and comfort them when they were hurt.

Olmurani was up next to Ayesha by the time she had reached the edge of the water. He was never good at beginning conversations but he somehow managed to get around that. He turned his head to look at Ayesha with his green eyes as he spoke.

"Is your paw alright?" He asked.

When Bakari sat next to Isha, she tried to make sure she was giving her some space. Lowering her head slightly, she asked her if she was ok just like Olmurani was asking Ayesha.

"Hey. Are you ok?" She spoke softly. She didn't expect the fox to say that she was alright but it seemed sometimes the best way to find out what was wrong was just to ask if anything was wrong.

Pizeera was laying there his eyes following the fox who finally left the air and landed in bushes, then she crawled out snarling at Ayesha.
' well looks like more entertainment is here'

Before he could move, something heavy and wet landed on his back making him wince as his tummy was pushed hard against the ground almost squishing out the water he had just drunk.
"Why thankyou for that wash, let me make sure you're nice and clean too!"

Struggling to get to his paws, Pizeera finaly made it and shook himself ,shaking off the lioness onto the dusty ground.
Leaning over her, he had a smirk on his face as he looked down at her .
" you've picked the wrong lion if you want to have some fun, better go join boyo and his friend over there, oh and you've got dirt stuck all over you now, better clean yourself up."

Lying there with her injured paw in the water, the coolness soothing the stinging, Ayesha stared at her reflection in the water. Did she really look that awful that foxy didn't want to have anything to do with her, was it her smooth black skin, or white fluffy fur tuft. Turning her head this way and that she stared at herself trying to find an answer.

"Is your paw alright?"
Startled, the liard bought her head up quickly and met a pair of green eyes. Not answering she just stared, she wasn't even sure she blinked while doing so, and then she remembered he had asked her a question.

"my paw... it'll be fine in a little while, as long as foxy hasn't got rabies I don't think it will turn poisonous."
Pausing for a moment Ayesha turned towards where Isha lay with the lioness beside her now, and looked back at Olmurani beside her.
"I didn't mean to hurt her... I honestly thought she was in trouble.. and I was...I was helping her."

Dropping her head, her white fur tuft floated all around almost hiding her expression before its settled back down on her head.
"Maybe we need to just start moving again, see whats up ahead and all that"

Phrixus listened to Isha yell at Ayshea angrily. He understood why, but he thought it was just a bit harsh. He saw that Bakari and Olmurani had split up and went to talk to the both of them. Phrixus was about to say something to Ayesha, seeing as he was already near her, but Olmurani spoke first so he just waited.

"I didn't mean to hurt her... I honestly thought she was in trouble.. and I was...I was helping her."

"We know," Phrixus told her, "I think biting you was just a reaction to being shaken like that."

"Maybe we need to just start moving again, see whats up ahead and all that"

Phrixus tried thinking of way to cheer her up a bit, and got an idea. Taking her good paw, pulled her up and gave her nose a lick just like she had done to him before. He thought that would at least get a smile out of her.

"We better not waste any time then. Lets go get Isha." He said pulling her with him by the paw again.

"Lets hope your friend has had some luck with the fox, Olmurani"

Memkrias found herself flung roughly to the ground and Pizeera leaning over her, her hearted was beating loudly in her chest as he leaned over her and spoke to her about picking the wrong lion to have fun with. Memkrias opened her mouth, then closed then open again and swallow before finally speaking "Please... why don't you like me? Can't you like me? I'll smooch you if it'll make you more friendly towards me??" Memkrias was quite sincere, she really wanted to get along with the lion and being young she did't know how to approach this lion who was grouchy.

Ayesha lay there, her paw still in the water soaking while the two lions stood beside her, it seemed they were concerned about her for some reason.
Not knowing what to do anymore, she was about to push herself to her feet when the one who carried the fox everywhere, Phrixus, pulled gently on her good paw helping her stand upright.

Wobbling a little till she gained her balance, she was then surprised when he leant forward and licked her nose, amazed at the feel, soft yet raspy, warm and wet, Ayesha just blinked and stared at him, she was almost about to lick him back, he looked so soft and his smell was... different for some reason, but before she could react he had pulled her the rest of the way towards where the others were standing around, and Olmurani followed.

The liard glanced over at where Isha was being looked after by Bakari, and then onto the other two. Suprise crossed her face when she saw the male standing over Memkria.
Giving the fox a wide berth, she didn't want more teeth sinking into her skin she stood before Pizeera.

"What are you doing to her, is this some new way of getting to know everyone, can we all join in?"

Pizeera stood there listening to the lioness and started shaking his head, he didn't actually believe what she just said. Taking a couple of steps away from her, he stopped himself from going any further and just stared.

"Lets get a couple of things straight before we go on our walk ok. One I don't do smooching, two I didn't say that I don't like you, three you need to stop with all this, this sillyness."

Not knowing what else to do Pizeera placed some paws on her back and pushed her up and then dropped his paws quickly in case she got any more ideas.
"There, now you're all ready to go wherever we are going to."

Memkrias felt embarised as the lion spoke to her and called her behaviour silly and she did't know where to look and then suddenly she was pushed up onto her feet, she felt very confused, she did't understand him.

Suddenly out of no where Ayesha appeared and started asking awkward questions and she felt like her face was burning up, oh could't the ground swallow her up already she thought.

Isha glared murderously as Ayesha retreated, and so she didn't notice Bakari until she stood right next to her. She jumped when the cat spoke, and turned her murderous glare at the bigger animal.

"Am I ok?" she hissed. "Am I ok?!?! Would YOU be ok after being shaken like that?!"
The fox was nearly screaming the last words. She seemed to realize this herself too, as she closed her eyes and took a few calming breaths.

"I'm too small", she finally said with a sad tone.
"Where ever I go, what ever I do... I just feel like everyone thinks I'm some pretty little pet that you can cuddle and toss around as much as you want, no matter what I might feel about it."

"Maybe we need to just start moving again, see whats up ahead and all that"
"We better not waste any time then. Lets go get Isha."

The fennec glanced at Ayesha and Phrixus when she heard them speak, but it was only a quick glance before she turned to look at the ground with her ears flattened and head hung low.

Bakari stood there listening to the fox explain her dilema, her face carried such a sad expression, the lioness wasn't sure quite what to do.

" Isha.. maybe you could look at it from Ayeshas point of view, yes I know she was a bit rough with you, but we could all see the look on her face, she guinealy thought you were choking, she was afraid for your wellbeing, thats what prompted her to pick you up and shake you, there was no maliciousness on her part."

Looking away from where Isha still stood, Bakaris eyes roamed around at the others, noticing they were staring at Memkria and the quiet lion, and for some reason now the liard was licking and sniffing at Phrixus.
' I'm beginning to think Ayesha has some sort of predisposition towards smells and the feel of certain things, either that or she truly is a strange creature.

Turning back to the fennec, Bakari hoped she had got over her little 'angry spell' and was willing to join them once more , she didn't really like the thought leaving such a small thing behind alone.
"Are you ready Isha to travel now, anyone of us would be glad to carry you, if you wish?"

The fennec listened with a lowered head as Bakari replied to her. She tried to look at things from Ayesha's point of view, but she really couldn't. She even gave Ayesha another glance, attempting to see what the liard saw, but she really couldn't.

"Are you ready Isha to travel now, anyone of us would be glad to carry you, if you wish?"

The fennec cringed, and glanced at Phrixus.
"I suppose I am... I'd like to go with Phrixus again, but..."
She sighed.
"Ayesha and Phrixus seem to get along, and if I go with him she's going to pester me all the time."

As Phrixus got closer to Isha and Bakari he could make out the last thing that the fox said.

"Ayesha and Phrixus seem to get along, and if I go with him she's going to pester me all the time."

"I told you before that I wouldn't let her get to you when you're on my back," He paused and looked over at Ayesha, "you'll just have to pester me and the others instead"

It seemed like everyone was ready to leave, and Phrixus was too. There was more stuff to see, and more places to go, so they might as well get going.

"So Ayesha, which way do we go?"
