Memkrias was just hanging at the oasis's pool swishing her paw around in the water with child like amusement watching the ripples. She was easily amused at times, even if she did't quite meet others expectations of her, she would amuse herself regardless.

Ayesha was bored, so bored she was thinking of counting the ants that walked past her on the ground as she lay there, trying to sleep, but couldn't. Sighing out loud she pushed herself to her paws and sniffed the air slowly.

Water... she could kill some time having a wash and swim perhaps. Moving forward she could see a cleared path, from where she stood to where the water lay ahead.
Grinning she let out a little warcry, dug in her claws and gathered speed down that path. As she ran her white fur tuft was blowen back almost standing on end, in contrast with her black skin, she looked quite a sight if there was anybody that happened to see her rush past.

Ayesha saw the water getting closer and closer and her smile widened, she was nearly there. With one last push of her paws she was sailing through the air.
" whooohoooo" was all that could be heard, then the splash as her sleek body hit the water, limbs going in all directions and she disapeared under the water, as waves rolled onto the bank of the waterhole.

Uriah had been wandering around when he suddenly smelled water. I could go for a nice refreshing drink. He thought to himself. So he turned in the direction of the scent and followed his nose.

Uriah was very close to the water. He knew because he could hear it. But there was another noise he heard. Was it the sound of paws running? Yes, it was. He was at the edge of the water but didn't bend down to drink until he knew what it was that was making that fast paced pattering sound. It was getting louder and louder. He ducked and looked around waiting for something to hit him but instead he heard a roar and a splash as a blur slammed into the surface of the oasis. Some water droplets landed on his forehead and he quickly wiped them off.

As soon as the... whatever it was.. surfaced, he rubbed his ear as he spoke.
"You can roar really loud, you know that?"

Staying underwater for as long as she could hold her breath, Ayesha kicked with her back paws and pushed up through the surface, her white fur plastered down on her head and over her face covering her eyes, so she couldn't see any of her surroundings.
Floating on her back she made a fountain out of the water that was in her mouth, sending it spraying back around her. Giving a small laugh she moved around so she was now treading water lazily, life was indeed good right at that moment.

"You can roar really loud, you know that?"

Surprised by someone speaking to her, she forgot to close her mouth and instead of breathing took a gulp of water, and sank under the water for a moment, before habit took over and her head emerged while she coughed and spluttered.
Paddling to the side of the waterhole, she scrambled to get a foooting and stumbled out onto firm ground. Blinking rapidly to clear her vision, she couldn't understand why she couldn't see, and then gave a small laugh, sat her rump on the ground, bought up a paw, and cleared her face of wet white fur.

There before her was a male lion, waiting for something, but she wasn't sure if it was her. Turning her head she looked over her shoulder to the left, nothing there, and then swivelled to the right, where her eyes locked onto a lioness splashing her paws in the water.
Facing the lion, Ayesha grinned.
"me roar...never, must be that she lion over there you are talking about".

Standing up, she gave herself a vigorous shake to rid herself of more water still clinging to her, not realising how close she was to him. About to walk past she grinned when she saw where some of her droplets had landed. Stopping beside him she bought up a paw and flicked the top of one ear.

"There.. you all squeaky clean now."

[Genie]

Somewhere close by to them there was little coughs and splutters and through the bushes came the less than complimentary drenched form of Memkrias, her fur fringe hanging flat over her face, her slender body appearing even more slender as the water flattened down her fur even more. She coughed a few more time before saying out loud sarcastically in a not entirely happy tone "Like wow... I'm glad I came for a shower today... I was starting to smell somewhat..."

Having made her presence clear and laid down on the dirt, continuing to look like a drowned cat while drying out in the beams of sun. It was't that she hated getting wet, but rather that the sudden wave of water hit her quite fast and she was sure that she had swallowed half of it and her chest still felt like it had water in it.

"me roar...never, must be that she lion over there you are talking about"

Uriah laughed lightly.
"Well, then I must be pretty hungry for my stomach to make that noise."

The female was obviously a mix. Probably a liard. Her spots showed her leopard side and her build gave her silhouette the appearance of a lioness. She looked a bit odd with her almost black fur, brownish spots and white tuft and tail tuft. However, it was this uniqueness that made her look appealing.

She shook the water off her coat and some of the drops landed on Uriah. When she was finally done drying herself off, she smiled and flicked his ear to rid him of the last bit of moisture on him.

"Ow," Uriah said. He didn't shout. The flick didn't hurt that much. "Thank you.. I guess." He said as he smiled.

"Like wow... I'm glad I came for a shower today... I was starting to smell somewhat..."

Uriah looked over at the other lioness who had just come out. She was obviously aggravated by the sudden wetness. He looked back at the female with the white tuft and chuckled once again.

"Looks like you owe someone an apology."

[dakota]

"Looks like you owe someone an apology."

Ayesha stared at the lion.
"who me ?.. she said she was starting to ...what was it.. smell somewhat. I think she should be thanking me for helping her out with that little ...problem."

Grinning at him Ayesha cocked her head to one side
"besides you just thanked me, now that wasn't too hard was it, if you could see yourself, you'd know that your right ear looks pretty spiffy... if I do say so myself."

Moving around, she stopped and stretched her limbs, finding that she was bored once more.
"So..... there's you, me and her, what shall we do ?"

[Genie]

Memkrias roled over on to her back, her back legs out stretched, her front legs somewhat above her head.. it was not exactly a lady like postion, but Memkrias did't care, she was drying her underneath and that was that.

[dakota]

Before the lion could make any answer, Ayesha looked back at the water drenched lioness lying in the sun, and a smile graced her muzzle.
" well, well, lookee see what we have, I think this calls for some action"

Jumping to her paws, the liard kicked up some dirt as she raced over to where the lioness was stretched out on her back, to all intents and purposes, to anyone looking, it would seem that she had perished in an awkward position, but Ayesha knew different.

Leaping in the air she landed on top of Memkrias and began to thump her on her chest.

"Breathe, come on breathe, come back to us you little beauty"

Biting on her bottom lip to stop herself from bursting out laughing, Ayesha carried on.

[Genie]

Laying where she was, innocently sunning, Memkrias nearly spilled her guts as Ayesha landed on her tummy and chest. She very nearly needed resusitation never mind Ayeshas false attempts. Grumblely she muttered "get of me you elephant or was it your intention you give me kiss of life next?" She coughed a little more, Ayesha had actually hurt her tummy and it did't feel nice.

Uriah wasn't sure if he should be laughing or if he should be horrified at what was happening. The lioness was obviously uncomfortable underneath the other cat.

"Breathe, come on breathe, come back to us you little beauty"

Uriah couldn't help but snicker. Then he wondered what was going to happen next. Was she going to jump on him too? He couldn't wait to see what came next.

"get of me you elephant or was it your intention you give me kiss of life next?"

Uriahs jaw dropped and his eyes widened. He put his paw up to cover his eyes.
"Uh oh."
He wasn't sure if the female with the spots and white tuft would actually go along with what the lioness said but he clenched his eyes shut and smiled, waiting to hear what happened next.

Ayesha by this time was laughing out loud, but suddenly stopped when she heard herself being called an elephant.

"hey you, I haven't even eaten today, I consider myself rather sleek, thank you very much."

Turning away she gracefully jumped down off the lioness and sat on her rump, licking one of her front paws. When finished she looked over to where the lion still sat staring at them.

"are you going to make yourself useful... this one here has asked for the kiss of life .. You going to oblige or just sit there with that silly expression spread across your muzzle.?"

Pizeera lay there perched up high on a flat rock sunbathing himself, his whiskers twitching when flies tried to land. He could hear noises coming on the breeze towards him, but he paid no attention, it wasn't any concern to him, he was too lazy to go see what was happening.

[Genie]

Memkrias rolled onto her side and licked at her tummy... there was several scratches on it and it stung as she licked them. She did't say anything for a while before retaliating with "Maybe he prefers the spotty type". It was a bit weak of a retaliation and she added "Well of course.. I am slender... its natural I'm fanciable".

[Lyonize]

When the.. Liard.. he guessed, finally jumped off the lioness, she licked her paw daintily and then looked at him next.

"are you going to make yourself useful... this one here has asked for the kiss of life .. You going to oblige or just sit there with that silly expression spread across your muzzle.?"

Uriah chuckled.
"Nah, shell live."

The lioness spoke up again after licking her belly.

"Maybe he prefers the spotty type. Well of ourse.. I am slender... its natural I'm fanciable"

Uriah was dumbfounded for a moment. If he didn't know any better, Uriah would think maybe they were flirting with him... Were they? He was dying to find out now.

"Oh, no worries. There's plenty of me to go around."

Uriah said half joking as he winked.

Trying to nap Pizeera's whiskers kept twitching as noises still kept coming towards him. Finally giving up, he pushed himself to his paws, stood a moment and stretched slowly, as a yawn happened too.
His bright blue eyes looked around him, but he still couldn't see where the noise was coming from.

Jumping down from one rock to the next, the adolescent lion hardly touched each one as he moved, till at last he felt the ground under his paws again.
Quietly he moved, till he stopped beside a large tree, and then lowered himself to his belly and looked over at the three other felines, he couldn't make out if they were all together or not.

A small golden figure moved swiftly among the grass, darting left and right to avoid stepping on twigs. The only sound that the creature created was the swishing sound that the tall grass blades made when the creature moved them. With incredible speed the golden creature approached its intended victim, a brown male lion with a blue crescent moon on his shoulder and a blue stripe on his left leg. The creature sped up when it was closer, and the swishing sound of grass blades became louder.

Then, when the creature was very close to the lion, it pounced from the grass with a loud squeal. Sunlight made the creature appear as a golden bolt when it landed on the male lion's back, pounced again and landed on his head. The creature pounced from where it was and disappeared into the tall grass, and ran away with loud laughter.

Only that its laughter ended almost as instantly as it had begun. The golden creature emerged from the tall grass and came to the water's edge, and bumped into something very large. The creature bumped back and rolled at the ground. When it came to a halt it became clear that it was a small fennec fox who glared angrily at the brown male lion she had bumped into. She was completely oblivious of the other two felines present.

"Oi!" the fennec exclaimed with a frown on her face as she stood up and flicked her hair out of her face.
"How dare you sit on my path?" she demanded with a glare.

[Lyonize]

Uriah was startled when suddenly something small slammed into his back.
"Whoa!" He shouted as he quickly turned around to see a small fennic fox looking quite annoyed.

"Oi! How dare you sit on my path?"

Uriah looked down at where he was sitting. It didn't look like a marked path to him.

"How dare you put your path where Im sitting?"
Uriah said, hardly being serious.

[dakota]

Ayesha had finished grooming herself, but her nose had started twitching... there was different smells around them now. Looking over her shoulder she stared at the lioness still stretched upon the ground
."lazy thing, lying around all day, has no stamina it seems".
Moving her gaze away once again, she started squinting,as something golden was coming directly towards them all, and it was moving with good speed.
Standing to her paws, Ayesha had taken a few steps, when she saw the 'golden ball' slam into the blue eyed lion, get up shake it self and start to have 'words'.

" Looks like another has joined our merry band of allsorts, this should get interesting, I'm feeling a tad hungry for some reason ."

Moving slowly the liard approached the two who were dusting themselves off, walking around them in a circle inspecting them both closely as she went.
"well... you going to introduce your lady friend ?"

[Genie]

Memkrias looked lazily round and then flopped her head down on ground, she was sunbathing again.. after all, her fur was still damp.. and she did't want to catch a cold.
