soon Phrixus heard the others come up closer and closer behind them, seems the nice threesome was only going to be short lived.
He tilted his face and looked up at the liard, watching as the white fur from her head waved all around her each time she moved, it was like it had a mind of it's own.
As they ambled along a little further, he found that Ayesha was now side by side with him, and giving small glances at the fox on his back.
"You keep staring at the fox ? are you feeling hungry ?"

Isha snorted, but didn't move from the comfortable position she had on Phrixus' back. For once she wasn't hurting anywhere.
"She had better not", the fox remarked quietly, muttering into the lion's soft mane. "I'll bite off her tongue the instant she makes an attempt to eat me."
She paused, thinking.
"For that matter, Ayesha would also be wise not to lick me, as that will have the same result as the attempt of eating me."

Ayesha stared at Phrixus.
"me..eat foxy, don't be a silly lion, I'm not into small snacks these days, I like to fill my tummy when I sit down to eat."
Grinning at him, the liard sidled a bit closer still, while moving a pace back and then quickly puckered her lips and blew on the foxs fur, watching as it shimmied back and forth. Skipping a few paces she came even with the lion again, about to speak, she paused and looked over her shoulder at the other four who were still coming, just slow about it.

Pizeera jumped back a little when the lioness whirled around quickly with a silly look on her face, was always good not to get too close to females, they were unpredictable he had found.
Puzzled he listened to her, Is she trying to joke with me I wonder .
before he had a chance to reply, she swished that silly tail of hers and jumped up onto the tree and over the other side out of site.
Looking around, there was only him left, everyone else was following the liard, it was time to go as well. Leaning back on his haunches, Pizeera pushed himself off the ground, his claws gripped the wood and he jumped down to the ground on the side landing behind that lioness again.

The rest of the group went on talking without answering Olmuranis question. For only an instant, a look of annoyance flashed over Bakaris face. She was thinking this was all getting boring. It was time the group got going now. With a purposeful stride, Bakari stepped forward and slightly ahead of the group. Her tail swung back and forth. Turning slightly so she could see the others, she lifted her muzzle and with a shake of her head like she was listening to the most uplifting music in the world, said loudly.
"Alright people, lets get this show on the road! WOO!"
Olmurani smiled widely. Leave it to Bakari to say only a few words and make him feel like he was at the top of the world. He then walked over next to Bakari and raised the paw with the green bandana tied to it.
"I vote yes." The lion said jovially.
There was a short pause.
"... Well don't everybody respond all at once." Olmurani said sarcastically.

As Ayesha stood beside Phrixus, she saw the last two to join their group come up closer, it seemed the female was angry about something but trying to hide it, she didn't remember her asking anything, as she had already moved ahead of the others, so wasn't sure what had set her off already.
Spoilt cat, look at her prancing along.
Turning her head back ignoring them, Ayesha was about to to try and get some more information from Phrixus ,about where he had been, when she was interrupted once more.
"Alright people, lets get this show on the road! WOO!"
Lifting her head, her eyes narrowing the liard stared hard at the lioness
"Excuse me if I'm mistaken, but..... this show is already on the road.. you and him are at the back of the pack, it's not a race we're enjoying the scenery as we go."
Ayesha then turned to the male who was again showing some sort of being annoyed.
"I have responded...is my answer good enough for you and...her ? "

Memkrias turned her head and smiley cheekily as Pizeera came up behind her and playfully remarked "Hey.. you're quite slow, do you need me to carry you to catch up with the others? I may not look it, but I'm R-E-A-L-L-Y Strong! I could get you there in a giffy!"
She giggled again, she did't know why but she really actually liked this grumpy lion, its not like she was trying to partner up with him but she was sure she could lighten him up.

Phrixus walked beside Ayesha and look around as they moved. He liked the area, it was nice, there was lots to see, but his attention was then drawn to one of the females who pranced ahead of him.
"Well at least they're starting to move now." Phrixus thought to himself.
He looked over to Ayesha and it looked like she was about to say something when she was interrupted. He listened to the exchange between the two and kept silent.
"I have responded...is my answer good enough for you and...her ? "
"So, how about you? Where did you come from?" he asked Ayesha. He hoped that he had stopped the argument before it started.

Ayesha had thrown out the reply to those behind her, she wasn't sure if she would get an answer, she didn't really care, no one was going to spoil her day.
With her nose in the air, she sniffed at various things as they passed, then realised Phrixus was talking to her. Turning she looked at the fox sleeping, and then brought her eyes quickly up to met his.
"So, how about you? Where did you come from ?"
Thinking for a minute as she didn't know what to reply to his question, she mumbled at first and cleared her throat and started over.
"well... umm... I don't actually know. All I can remember from when I dream, is crocodiles, a three legged lion, and a sick cub, other than that, its me here all alone, doing what I want to do without anyone telling me otherwise.."
Grinning at him she darted ahead a little bit and plucked some flowers off a bush, came back and tucked one into the foxs fur and then pushed one into the lion mane and ending with the last flower behind her ear..
" Now.. anyone along the way, can smell us coming."

The fox was on her feet the instant Ayesha put flowers on her. She fiercely ripped the plants off, then turned to glare at the liard.
"What the heck was THAT about?!" she snarled.
"That better be the last time you pull a stunt like that, you insane liard!"
The fennec stood up and pounced down from Phrixus' back. Landing hurt slightly, hinting that she hadn't fully recovered from being stepped on, but her current fury towards the liard gave her the energy to walk on her own.
"Thanks for the ride, Phrixus, but I think I'll walk on my own now."
She shot one more deathly glare at the liard before marching ahead of the rest of the group, walking surprisingly fast for a creature as small as she was.

Just as Ayesha turned away she heard the sarcasm in the fox's voice and lots of angry words were hurled at her, and then her gift was thrown on the ground , the fox rose and jumped off Phrixus back landing on the ground akwardly and almost hobbled past them and was now leading the way.
Blinking for a moment surprised, Ayesha made sure a smile was pasted on her face before she looked at the lion.
" Her temperament is amazing after a short sleep isn't it, wonder what she's going to be like on a good day."
Looking behind her she saw the other four were walking in a group as well, and not paying much attention now as to what was happening up front. Giving them all a seperate glance, she could see the pouty lioness was grinning up at Pizeera in a funny way while the other two, well she didn't linger on them, turning her attention back to the fox in front of her.
With her voice raised a little the liard grinned and made her comment, that she knew would reach the fox's ears.
" Oooo Foxy, when you walk like that, it does look very nice you know, all that fur rippling in the breeze, and your tail..well... "
Ayesha stopped any more and gave a small laugh, almost skipping as she looked around.

Phrixus watched Ayesha as she plucked flowers and put them in the fur of the trio.
"Flowers aren't really something I would normally wear." He took the flower out of his mane and put it behind Ayesha's other ear. "You look better with them than I do anyway."
In a fit of anger, the fox jumped off his back and landed on the ground, still showing signs of pain.
"Thanks for the ride, Phrixus, but I think I'll walk on my own now."
"You don't seem ready quite yet, it looks like your still in pain."
"Oooo Foxy, when you walk like that, it does look very nice you know, all that fur rippling in the breeze, and your tail..well..."
Phrixus picked up the fox and put her on his back again.
"I think it's safer if you stay on my back anyway. Ayesha will have a tougher time getting to you up here than down there." He smiled and looked over to the liard, "She'll have to get through me first."

Ayesha's good humour was restored when Phrixus spoke kindly and placed the flower she had given him back into her fur. As she breathed in the scent, she felt a ripple of excitement run through her, aromas and the sense of touch were one of her guilty pleasures.
Seeing the lion move slightly ahead of her, she watched as he picked up with fox and placed her on his back once more, his words reaching her.
"I think it's safer if you stay on my back anyway. Ayesha will have a tougher time getting to you up here than down there, she'll have to get through me first."
Ayesha moved up beside him once more, not looking at Isha but letting her head drop slightly she sniffed at Phrixus. Her nose twitched and her tail started swinging around and she then looked back eyeing up the fox, sitting on her 'throne'.
"perhaps.. I shall have great enjoyment trying to 'get though you', ever considered that ?"

Isha hadn't had much time to walk when Phrixus suddenly picked her up again. She yelped faintly as a sign of protest, but she was soon enough quieted when the lion assured that he'd keep Ayesha away from her.

"Oh for hornbill's sake!" Isha exclaimed with a loud, annoyed voice.
"Why don't you two just get a room right away and leave me out of it. And Ayesha, I swear if you touch me again I will bite."

"Yes, and perhaps I shall have great enjoyment trying to stop you." He replied smiling at Ayesha as they continued walking.

"Don't worry, Ayesha won't get to you"
Phrixus got behind Ayesha and pushed her forward. She wouldn't be able to get to the fox if he was back here.
"Lets find some water, I'm getting thirsty."

Pizeera shook his head at what Memkria had said to him, he didn't understand females, had really never been around them much, but why was she giggling, what was so funny.
"I'm fine thanks, I don't need you to carry me or anything else, you should look after yourself and where you're going, or you'll get yourself into trouble."
Phrixus moved away from her and nearly bumped into the other couple who joined the group last.

Memkrias stopped and tilted her to the side with a question mark on her face, why was he in such a hurry to get away from her. She was only trying to play with him and he acted like she was scary. She suddenly lowered her head and smelt her body... nope could't be that she stunk.. shaking her head she sighed, males were so hard to understand, did't they enjoy playing?

Isha kept eyeing the liard suspiciously despite the fact that Phrixus had moved further back from her. Despite his assurance, she doubted that the liard would leave her alone. She shook her head and sighed in frustration. If she only could walk properly, she'd zoom off and away from the group - and the liard - as fast as her small feet could carry her.
"Lets find some water, I'm getting thirsty."
The fennec's ears perked up and she slightly wagged her tail.
"That sounds good indeed!" she exclaimed. Not really because of water, but because she knew there would be all sorts of little things by the water that she could hunt down and eat.

Pizeera turned and had a good look at these two who had joined the group at the last minute, they seemed to be a 'together' pair , he wondered why they weren't just off on their own, should he actually try and talk with them, he usually never had much success, and ended up making a fool of himself, so ended up keeping his mouth shut.
Trying not to stare at the lioness who had now stopped and was sniffing herself, he again turned to the lioness who had replied to Ayesha.
"Think we all need to get used to each other and, well all these odd things that the others seem to have. Is there anything about you two that I should know, something that might just pop out at any time ?"
