"Help, help.. I'm drowning."
"You have got to be kidding me..." Isha muttered from Phrixus' back when she saw the liard perched up in the branch with all her limbs flailing into random directions. She knew the liard was insane, but this...
She shook her head and turned to look back at the direction where they came from.
"Yo!" she shouted out at the two newest lions. "You two have got to see this!"
She then turned her attention back at the scene the liard was making, and listened with disbelief at the discussion between the liard and Pizeera.
"Did you pay attention, cause when I'm actually in the water and I'm saying the same thing, that means you have to use your manly muscles and come rescue me, not stand on the side going, what, what."
Isha laughed.
"You aint in the water now, miss smarty pants!" she shouted at the liard.

Phrixus was slightly confused when he heard Ayesha yelling that she was drowning, and she wasn't even in the water. Looking back, he saw the 2 new ones who he had almost forgot about.
"I guess you guys can come. I don't see why not."
Phrixus then jogged up to Ayesha being careful to make sure that the fox didn't fall off of him.
"So, do you know where we're going?"

Ayesha turned and looked back up at the log she had jumped from and found Phrixus standing there with Isha balanced on his back.
"You silly fox, of course I'm not in the water, my feet are nice and dry.. do you need glasses or something ?"
Turning her gaze upon the lion who was staring at her .
"What ?"
"So, do you know where we're going?"
"No..... that's why it's called an adventure. You can go wherever you want, like a straight line, or we can cut through bushes.. it's all too easy Phrixus... why I might even let you take lead, if you get your body up here beside me."
The liard then looked at the fox and gave her a small grin.

"Woah. woah, woah!" Isha protested.
"Don'y you dare take me up there! You kitties might have very handy claws to climb on stuff, but I'm a fox. That means, a canine. I don't have your claws and climbing skills!"
She paused, glaring suspiciously at Ayesha's expression. She was sure the liard was up to something...
"If you are going up there, Phrixus", she said after a moment. "Leave me down here."

Ayesha stood there waiting to see if anyone was going to join her, no one it seemed had the gumption, was this adventure going to stop before it had even started.
"Aww come on foxy, all you have to do is hang onto the lion, let him do all the work for you.. besides if you want I can come down and get you, wouldn't mind another lick of your nose, it tasted.... mighty fine last time."

"You can stay back here, or I can continue to carry you and take you up there, either way your still going to have to deal with Ayesha." He said to the fox. "You might as well stay with me, it'll be much easier."
Phrixus walked up to Ayesha and stopped beside her.
"I don't really want to lead, I think we're fine following you." He said looking behind them. "I'm not sure who's coming though."

Pizeera stood there at the tree and looked over his shoulder at the other three, still coming along. He was a bit uncertain whether to follow the liard, lion and fox, as it was getting stranger and stranger by the minute.
Making his decision he sat down on his rump, he'd let the others go over first and then with him being the last he could watch his back as well.
Turning his head he saw the fancy lioness trying to walk along all funny, it looked like she'd got something stuck on her front paws and was trying to flick it off.
"You going to hurry up and get over that tree or you just going to walk along as though you sniffing something in the air that smells funny?"

Olmurani and Bakari decided to make their own decision as to weather they should go with them or not. Together, they decided that it would be nice to travel with a group wherever they may lead them.
As they followed, they watched the scene that the liard put on. It was actually a bit entertaining to watch. The two of them chuckled at what was going on. The other males seemed to take her a little more seriously. Olmurani should be used to her kind of behavior. Bakari was like that every once in a while.

Memkrias yawned and sat down and looked at the strange cats with her head tilted to the side in a cute manner. She wondered if this lot really had any idea what they were doing, it did't seem like it to her.

Ayesha watched as the lion carrying the fluffy little fox jumped down and now stood in front of her.Her eyes flicked over him and then moved onto the female, the liard found a smile forming on her muzzle as she stared at her.
"I don't really want to lead, I think we're fine following you.,I'm not sure who's coming though."
As the tree was in the way, Ayesha couldn't see who was on the other side and who wasn't, and didn't really want to wait any longer.
"well... who cares about the rest of them, the important ones are here, right now... I think we should just start walking and see what we can find on the way.. if they want company they can just speed up their paws a little."
Taking a few steps Ayesha stopped and looked over her shoulder at Phrixus and Isha.
"You know.. if you would like a break, I could carry her for you...get to know her better and all that."

"I rather get stepped on again!"
She fell silent, and glared murderously at Ayesha. The liard would regret it if she would lift her up...

Phrixus's eyes widened slightly when the little fox spoke.
"Now now, play nice." Phrixus told her.
Phrixus looked back to see if anyone was coming, but he still couldn't tell. It didn't matter that much to him whether they came or not, he kind of liked the idea of the three of them walking together.
"Let's get going." Phrixus said to Ayesha as he pulled her tail again.

Ayesha was still watching the fox, but as she spoke her smile began to slip when Isha yelled at her.
"Like hell I'm travelling on your back, you insane liard! , I rather get stepped on again!"
Taking a step back from them, she looked down too Phrixus.
"Pfff, I'm only insane on days ending in 'Y', little does she know, seems I might have to educate her on quite a few things while we are travelling.
Standing up as high as her limbs would allow, she still couldn't see over the fallen tree, maybe none of the others were coming, and it was just the three of them, maybe it was time to get moving like the lion suggested.
Ayesha started to walk beside the lion and fox, occassionally darting up a look at Isha as they travelled over the dusty track.
"So Phrixus.. where did you suddenly turn up from to surprise us all ?"

The lion and lioness walked over to the group as they heard them talking and wondering who would follow them. They hopped over the log, Olmurani after Bakari to find the liard talking to the fennec and the other male called Phrixus.
"Like hell I'm travelling on your back, you insane liard! , I rather get stepped on again!"
"Whoa, keep it G rated. I think a simple 'no thanks' would have sufficed."

Phrixus rolled his eyes when he heard his words. He hoped he wasn't going to be like that for the whole walk.
"None of us are cubs here, I think it's safe to go higher than G."
"So Phrixus.. where did you suddenly turn up from to surprise us all ?"
"Nowhere really. I've been wandering around for a little while now looking for some other group to travel with. I heard you guys by the water so I thought I'd come check things out."

Isha rolled her eyes and shook her head, but decided she would not get anywhere by arguing with Ayesha. Instead she turned her head away from the liard and laid it against Phrixus' mane. It was quite comfortable to travel like this, and soon enough the fennec found herself closing her eyes and letting out a small, content sigh.

Pizeera came up behing Memkria and gave her a nudge, hoping she would get off her rump and follow the others.
"Hurry up you, you're going to be left behind, and I really don't want to have to babysit you, get your legs moving and get over that log, or else we're going to be stuck here all night."
The lion started grinning and leant down towards her
"You know there are rampaging animals here at night time, always looking for a soft tender female to attack and rip apart to enjoy for a tasty meal or two ?"

Ayesha listened to the lion and was somewhat disapointed, she was hoping to hear some exciting story of how maybe he was chased by a herd of wildbeasts, or him and some other male had fought over a lioness and he was running off with her... but all she heard was.
Nowhere really. I've been wandering around for a little while now looking for some other group to travel with. I heard you guys by the water so I thought I'd come check things out."
The liard looked back about to question the fox, but she had curled up on Phrixus back fast asleep, maybe while she was sleeping Ayesha thought she could run a paw over her fur and feel how soft it was.

Memkrias suddenly span around, her face almost brushing Pizeera's and she looked into his eyes, and semi silly smile on her face and annouced "You really do care for me? I'm happy you'd become food with me!" She gave a little giggle and smiled broadly before turning and leaping onto the log and then onto the ground on other side and trotted after the others calling teasingly behind her "Hurry mr food!"
