Ayesha stood there beside the lioness, watching as Pizeera and the boy start to drag the carcuss back to where the others hopefully still were.
Looking down at Memkria, Ayesha followed her gaze to see that her eyes were wandering over the boy while her head was tilted to one side.
"Something bothering you Memkria ? besides what Pizeera calls your hissy fit ? you seem to be staring at the boy in a very strange way...please don't tell me you are having second thoughts about what you are actually going to eat for lunch? "

Memkrias gave a frowning glance at Ayesha's comment before she made a deliberate statement "1. I don't have hissy fits, 2. I have no intention of attacking that human thing, 3. I'm gonna help!"
She ran after the other two annoyed at being called being in a hissy fit. She took a hold of the carcass too and began to help drag it back, see if she show them she was't some dumb useless kid.

Ayesha stood there with a small grin on her face, that was the most she thought she had ever heard Memkria speak at once.
Standing there she was about to follow the lioness, when she realised she wasn't needed at all, they were doing a fine job all three of them by themselves, no point getting her paws dirty when not needed, besides it was her and the boy that had got everyone's meal.. enough said.
Slowly Ayesha moved after them trying not to step in the line of blood that was leaving a trail, even though her stomach was rumbling, the first thing she was going to have when they got back to the others was a quick dip in the cool water, she was all hot and sweaty and dust stuck to her, she wasn't feeling good about herself for some reason.
Seeing that it was Memkria who was in front of her, the liard moved a little closer and gave a quick tug on her tail.
" Come on Memkria, I'm so hungry even your tail looks pretty appealing right now."

Isha had run for a while before she realized that no one was following her. She blinked, slid to a halt and bounced around, her head tilted in confusion. She flicked her large ears, trying to catch the sound of large, feline paws hitting the ground...
Nothing. No one really was following.
Annoyed, she growled and darted back where she had come from.
"Well I hope she realizes we aren't following her soon. I wouldn't want something to see her and try to eat her."
Night Flame chuckled.
"After the screeching she did earlier when that rock was thrown at her?" she asked, shaking her head. The fox seemed to be full of surprised, especially when surprised.
Speaking of which... Night Flame flicked her ears and grinned.
"Here she comes..."
The moment after she had spoken, the fox appeared from the bushes and halted, panting after her run. She glared at Night Flame and Phrixus with annoyance and confusion
"Why... huff-huff... didn't... huff-huff... you... huff-huff... follow me?!"

"I guess you have a point." Phrixus replied with a slight laugh. "Though, I don't think a screech is enough to fend of hungry predators."
Phrixus flicked his ears and could hear little footsteps coming towards them.
"Here she comes..."
"Why... huff-huff... didn't... huff-huff... you... huff-huff... follow me?!"
"Because you went the wrong way." he chuckled.

Memkrias looked back at Ayesha's comment of her tail and and replied "Hey i'm cute and yummy, can I help it?" She smiled to herself before looking at the others, they had arrived back and there seemed to be no signs of the other lot. She glanced about before she said out loud "Well! Should we eat as they don't seem hungry and left us here?"

Ayesha's eyes widened at Memkria's throwback comment and then she smiled, seemed like the young lioness might have some 'get up and go' in her after all, and not the scared witless female she had thought of her.
Pushing back the last of the bushes, the liard came to a stand still. There they were with lunch, but there was no Phrixus, fox or Nightflame, had they all snuck off while Ayesha and the others were finding food for them all.
Her head swivelled in every direction and her glance stopped on Pizeera.
"It looks like we weren't very good company, and they've gone to find someone better to travel with, guess we're on our own."
Moving up Ayesha stood beside the boy, leaned her head down slightly and rubbed her cheek back and forth a few times on his bare arm, feeling the warmth of his skin. Her nostrils flared as she also took in his scent, it was something she hadn't come across before, but now she had a new aroma, to file away with all the others.
Pulling her head back the liard bared her teeth and leant in to the carcess and ripped off some fresh meat, blood dripping down her jaw and nodded to the boy to help himself, and then lay in the grass chewing slowly while her tummy stopped growling at long last.

Pizeera dropped the antelope from his mouth, watching as it hit the ground and stood there moving his jaw. Looking around, his ears moved as he listened for any sounds of the others, but it looked like they were by themselves.
Seeing Ayesha was now eating, Pizeera nudged the boy his head nodding towards the kill hoping he would take something to eat as well.
'wonder if he eats things like we do, maybe not seeing he's so small'.
"Memkria, you better come and eat something as well, if the others don't come back we better start moving on."

Memkrias nodded to Pizeera's comment and added with a cheeky grin.
"Yes, I would't want you to get fat cause you're eating my share too, of course its ok for me cause i'm a growing girl"
She started eating and a thought pinged into her head, she could tease him some more and started singing with her mouth full of food and wiggling her rear.
"Oooo I'm a sexy eater, ooo i'm a sexy eater, la la la"
Even though she realised she probably anything but.

Pizeera watched as Memkria started shaking her body as she walked.
what a strange thing she is, we'd better look out for her, seeing she's somewhat special'

Still staring at the lioness, he now just shook his head, amazed at seeing she could stuff her mouth with food and still have enough room to sing, well he thought that was what she was doing.

Thomas kept quiet and didnt dare look at any of the others, he still wasn't really totally sure that the lion accepted what he had been trying to do, he was innocent, he hadn't been trying to attack the liard,just hoping to gain their trust showing he could bring them food.
By the time they had dragged back the carcass, he found himself puffing slightly from the exertion, and promptly sat himself down on the ground, watching them slowly one by one take meat and begin to chew.
With his head resting on his updrawn knees, his arms had wrapped around the limbs as well, Thomas's eyes had closed, but quickly snapped open when he felt a warm breath caress an arm and then the liard rubbed her cheek over his skin. Bringing his arm up and over, Thomas gently brushed his hand over the top of her head a few times, before it dropped down as she stepped away from him. Not moving, his eyes followed as she ripped off some meat and then motioned for him to do the same as well.
On a few occassions he had managed to get a small fire going, he had cooked whatever it was that had been caught in his various traps, but then there were times like now, when there was fresh meat and he had to force himself to eat, not knowing when the next meal would appear.
Sighing, Thomas pushed himself to his feet, and pulled his dagger out from under his cloak and stepped upto the antelope. Bending over he sliced a small portion off, and then backed away to where a small rock lay. Placing the meat down on the stone, he cut it up into small pieces,that way it was more palatable eating raw meat, and not looking at anyone else in case they were mocking him, small piece by piece, he chewed and swallowed quickly.
Once it was gone, Thomas rubbed his dagger in the dirt coating it and then plucked a green leaf off an overhanging bush and cleaned all the mess off the blade, it was his only protection and he needed to look after it. Standing he moved over to the river's edge, cupping his hands he scooped up the fresh water and quenched his thirst and splashed another lot over his face, getting rid of the taste and leftovers, and then straightened looking around surveying the area they were now resting in.

Pizeera had taken a piece of meat for himself and stepped back, finding a space where he wouldn't be interupted and lay down and began to chew, while from the corner of his eye he watched what the boy was doing.
For now all of them that were there were eating and filling up their stomachs, food was plentyful where they were, now they had to wait and see if the others turned up and whether they were going to move on to somewhere else.

Memkrias did eat some of the meat but she was feeling mischious and a grin creaped up on her face, she could tease this hard boiled male some more. She grabbed some meat in her mouth and swung round so she could see him.
She start shaking the meat gently in her mouth and started singing some more "You wanna feed me.. you wanna eat with me.. you wanna get up close with me.. " while she dangled the meat temptingly in front of him.

Ayesha lay there licking her lips, her stomach had finally stopped growling and she was feeling quite pleased with her self. The boy along with her had proved that they were of some use to the rest of the group, except half of them hadn't seen what they had done, so she doubted that they would believe anyway.
Letting a small burp pass her lips, Ayesha looked around, her gaze landing on the boy and found him drinking from the river and then washing himself. Pressing her paws hard against the ground, Ayesha pushed herself upright, and moved over to stand beside Thomas. Lowering her head, she herself then quenched her thirst, her pink tongue coming out to lick at the wetness on her muzzle.
Giving the boy a small nudge, she grinned at him and sat down by his feet, her head moving from left to right, taking in the scenery that surrounded them, wondering if the others would come back to join them, or they had now gone off on their own.

Isha stared at Phrixus with wide eyes, not believing what he said.
"I did not!" she exclaimed, then glanced at Night Flame.
"Tell him I did not!"
The corners of Night Flame's lips twitched upwards as she struggled to hold back a laugh. The fox saw this and flattened her ears, her gaze now jumping between the two lions.
"I did, didn't I?" she said, then sighed and hung her head in shame.
"Um... Why don't you two show the way...?"
Night Flame couldn't help it any more and a small chuckle escaped her.

Pizeera was laying there eating when he saw Memkria turn towards him and she started with that singing thing again.
"You wanna feed me.. you wanna eat with me.. you wanna get up close with me.. "
Not knowing what to do, Pizeera was about to be sarcastic when he closed his mouth, he suddenly remembered what happened last time, she started with those silly female tears, one thing he really didn't like.
"Don't you think you should just eat up before the fox comes back and takes it from you ?"
Looking away from her, Pizeera saw the bushes move as Phrixus came into view followed by the fox, still staring he waited to see if the other one was with them as well, or had gone back to where she had come from.

Memkrias looked dumbfolded as Pizeera just commented on eating food rather than her, was he like dead from the feet up? How was a gal meant to tease and have a little fun?
This was making her head feel dizzy, Pizeera was truely perplexing her but she did't have any time to ponder on this as the bush tailed fox and her companions appeared.
"Oh there goes the peace" She muttered under her breath, seeing as 'drama' seemed to follow the fox.

Phrixus smiled at the small fox and then looked over to where Night Flame was standing, it seemed she found the situation funny as did he.
"Come on, let's go see what the other's have been upto."
Stepping forward the lion pushed through some bushes in his way, and stoped once more when he saw a meal laid out for them, at which his tummy started to rumble, making him aware that it had been quite a while since he had eaten properly.
Moving over to the carcess, he grinned at Ayesha.
"Don't mind if I do."
Leaning down Phrixus bared his teeth and ripped at the bloody flesh, snagging a large piece he then moved back sitting near the human boy, giving him a once over, before turning back to his meal and started to chew, with a look of pleasure on his muzzle.

Memkrias looked at Phrixus stuffing mouth full and she smirked and decided to fool around "Quick everyone! strangers are stealing our food!" she thought she see if that got a reaction too.
