"Come on, let's go see what the other's have been upto."
Night Flame watched Phrixus walk away towards where the rest of the group was, with Isha hot on his heels. The dark lioness glanced up at the tree tops momentarily before she shook her head and followed the other two with a sigh.
Meanwhile, Isha seemed to have reverted back to her usual cheerful self. She trotted forward with her head and tail held high, ears perked up and a wide grin on her face. As she finally saw the rest of the group she stopped, glanced backwards, and after making sure that Night Flame was following her she turned back to the group.
"Look who we brought back!" she said cheerfully, wagging her tail and apparently waiting for some praises on what she considered a "job well done".
Night Flame mentally groaned at the fox's words but kept her calm expression, doing her best to avoid looking at the human boy while she waited for the group's reactions.

Phrixus lay there chewing and savouring the flavour of the fresh meat when he heard the feamles voice carry over to him.
"Quick everyone! strangers are stealing our food!"
With his head snapping up, Phrixus stopped chewing and looked quickly around, not finding any strangers he glared at the lioness.
" Are you implying that I was away too long with the others or that I'm eating too much ?"

Memkrias looked innocent and blinked her eye lashes "Oh my... I really did't realise that was you Phrixus..."
Then she gave a little mock yelp cry and ran behind Pizeera, and put her front paws on his rump with her head bearly above. "Ekk!! Help! Help me my knight, save your damsel in distress!" she exclaimed in mock terror to Pizeera

Isha's cheerful expression faltered when no one paid any heed to her words. She sat down, her ears slightly floppy, watching the others in silence. Her gaze followed Memkrias as she went on about being what the fox considered to be a "drama queen". How come the lioness could do these ridiculous things with no one minding too much, but the instant she - Isha - did something...?
The fox sighed, turning to look away. Her gaze found Night Flame, who laid silently in the shade of one of the nearby trees. The dark lioness was watching the group with that calm expression of hers, seemingly not intending to take part in sharing the food for now.

"Look who we brought back!"
Pizeera stared at the fox along with the other two, watching as NightFlame sat herself away from everyone. His attention was switched over to Memkria who was running around and now hiding behind him, her voice high and hurting his ears.
Turning his head over his shoulder the lion stared at the female.
"Memkria you need to calm down, or someone likely to push you in the river to cool you off."
and then his head slowly turned back to the fox.
"We all thought you three had run off to do your own exploring, we were just getting ready to move again now we have all eaten thanks to Ayesha and the boy catching our meal."

Watching how the lioness carried on Phrixus wondered how she had managed to survive on her own before they had all met up together, at least it looked like she was harmless, even though a little strange.
Sighing for a moment, he looked away and stared at the boy standing by the river with Ayesha, they had managed to get Nightflame to return with them, he hoped things would remain calm.

Thomas stayed where he was on the edge of the bank, smiling when the liard came and sat next to him. Shifting his position he sat cross legged, his small hand came up and rested on her back, gently stroking her fur back and forth.
As he sat he watched the fox at first, the expressions on her face quite readable, seems she was annoyed at being ignored, and then his gaze moved to where the small creature was staring also. His eyes met the one who was the most outspoken at having him around the group, he wasn't sure what it was he was meant to have done, but Thomas knew he hadn't see the female with the strange markings and the greyish-purple skin tones ever before. First it was the one they called phrixus who didn't want him around,and then it was her also, he wasn't sure which one of them were going to be the most dangerous towards him, maybe for now he'd stick close to Ayesha, she looked like she could handle a good fight if it came to that.

Memkrias frowned at Pizeera's words, he was always being mean to her, he really needed to lighten up more.
Then as he talked to the others a mischievousness grin appeared across her face 'ok..lets see mister cool...' she thought to herself. Suddenly she bounced up on his back and hung on to his neck and head while saying aloud.
"Here I am! Come and cool me off! But you'll have to cool of too"
She giggled to herself waiting to see his reaction.

As Pizeera lay there waiting for one of three who had just appeared to reply to his question, he saw Memkria moving around a little bit, from the corner of his eye.
' hmm wonder what she's upto now'
The next thing she was on his back, his tummy was being pushed into the ground and he thought he would vomit up what he had just eaten, he was flattened so much and her paws were digging into his neck.
"You..need...to..get..off.."
Moving fast Pizeera threw himself to the side rolling, breathing air at the same time hoping the female would let go, he could hear his tummy start to make funny noises.

One moment Memkrias was atop of the lion, the next she found herself rather violently flung off to the side. The world span round to her as she spin in the air before landing rather awkwardly on her back.
She just layed there, winded with a slightly comical dazed look on her face, wondering what happened.

Ayesha licked her lips, small droplets of water falling to the ground.She suddenly gave a small burp, it seemed she was feeling quite contented for the moment.
Smiling, the liard stretched a little as she felt the boys hand stroke over her fur, what bliss.. she could get used to that very easily. Her head moved as she saw where everyone else was lying or sitting from their group, her gaze coming to rest finally on the lion, noticing that his attention was focused on staring at her new friend.
"Is something wrong Phrixus.. you need to blink perhaps ? your eyes seems to be looking a bit glazed."

Pizeera lay there, swallowing slowly, he'd just managed to keep his lunch down. Looking around he saw Memkria lying her her back silent.
"Memkria, was that you? What were you trying to do.? where you scared about something?"

Usawa walked with a spring in his step along the grass and pebbles next to the river he had been following for a while. He didn't know where it went but he didn't have anywhere to go. So several days ago, he decided to follow the river to see what he could find.
As he walked, he nodded his head back and forth while singing a song in a language he didn't understand.
"Viumbe vyote vya munguwetu,
Na mfalme wetu
Vyumbe vyote vya munguwetu,
Na mfalme wetu
Pazeni, sauti,
Illinasi mlimbe,
Watu wote,
Vyube vyote,
Awaye yote,
Sifu mungu..."
He repeated the lyrics as he wandered along the waters edge. He was so deep in thought and into his song that at first he didn't even notice the group he had just begun to walk past. The river was on his left and the group was on his right.

Memkrias lay there stunned a bit before she rolled over to right herself right way up, she had heard what Pizeera had said.
"Oooooo.. my head..." she moaned to herself, cause she had banged it when she hit the ground.
Then she looked at Pizeera and replied with a weak smile "I thought you wanted a bath with me... so I was letting you take us"
She stretched herself and shock her head before stopping, she noticed there was somebody unknown near them making weird noises.

The lion drew his eyes away from the boy and focused on the liard as she spoke to him, the corner of his eye still catching the way the boy stroked her fur, it looked like they had formed a tentative friendship of some sorts, wondering if it was all a guise and the human boy would turn on her when she had been lulled into a false sense of security.
" Not at all Ayesha, I was just thinking now we are all fed and rested maybe we should continue on our journey of sorts."
As soon as Phrixus had spoken, his ears began to twitch, something was was coming closer, he could hear it over the noise of the river swirling on past. Turning he moved closer to the edge of the river, now bringing him closer to the human and his eyes widened at what he saw.

"A bath, why would I want to take a bath ?, you really do some strange things Memkria."
Pizeera was about to help her up when she did it her self and then he saw she was staring at something past him. Turning slowly around he saw what she had seen.

Night Flame could feel the boy's eyes on her, but she did her best to ignore it for now. She stared at the river with mild disinterest, until the unknown singing voice and the shift in the group's behaviour caught her attention. Some of them were already staring at the source of this voice, and she too turned to look there. At first she only saw the human boy, but then she realized there was someone behind him. She was half tempted to get up and go closer, but that would've also brought her closer to the human boy, which was something she would rather avoid. Thus she remained where she was, waiting patiently for what would happen next.
Isha had been pretty much sitting still and staring at Night Flame after she and Phrixus had returned with the lioness. However, now she noticed that Night Flame's attention suddenly shifted from the river, and curiously the fennec followed her gaze. She frowned in confusion, thinking the lioness was staring at the boy. At closer inspection she realized that others had began to stare as well, and it was clearly something behind the human.
The fox tilted her head and got up on her feet, trotting next to Phrixus and peeking behind his leg at what had become the group's current centre of attention. She gasped slightly, then grinned, deciding that it was about time to welcome this newcomer.
"Hi!" she exclaimed and then fell silent to wait for a reply with the grin still on her face.

Usawa began humming the song instead of singing it when he was suddenly interrupted by a voice from across the river.
Hi!
The cub turned to see an odd group of lions, a fennec fox, a snow leopard and most surprising, a human. Usawa smiled at the sight of a friendly looking group. Or so he thought. Hardly anyone took the time to say hello to someone they didn't know so he assumed the best of this group.
Usawa replied happily.
"Hi! I don't suppose one of you could help me cross the river could you?" Usawa continued, feeling like he needed to give an explanation as to why he couldn't cross on his own. "I can swim, just not very well and iv never swam in running water." He said, only a little embarrassed.

Blinking a little Pizeera looked the brown spotted lion cub over, it wasn't skinny at all but seemed to be well fed. Looking past him both ways, he couldn't see any one else around, just the cub on his own.
Not looking at anyone Pizeera just spoke aloud.
" so, whose going to volunteer to go across and get the cub, I'm quite happy right here all nice and dry ? "

Memkrias looked after Pizeera as he spoke about someone going to get the newbie.. was't much chance there she could see.. then she looked at the fox but decided it more likely the fox need helping over. Then her gaze fell on Ayesha and a cheeky grin fell on her face and she piped up
"Ayesha will go, she likes to get wet!"
