Pizeera stood there staring at Memkria, she was offering her neck to him, was it to bite he wondered.
"What on earth are you going on about girl, why would I want to bite you for goodness sake."
Stepping back quickly away from her, he watched as Ayesha gave the dagger back to the boy and nudged him.
Seeing the lioness hadn't moved, Pizeera grabbed her and pulled her away from the human as well.
"Memkria he's dangerous, stay behind me."

Pizeera was looking her weirdly but she did't notice as she waited but what happened next was not what she expected. He spoke about what was she going on about and then the next moment Pizeera cat-handled her as she felt herself being forcibly drawn back away from the boy.
Memkrias was shocked at the sudden cat-handling of her but she did't say anything and instead merely looked shyly at the ground even when he told her its dangerous.

"Isha's on the right track. The human may bring back bad memories, but you can't hide from them forever. You should try to travel with the human and you'll see that he is different from the rest. I still don't trust this human much, but I don't think he can do much damage because he's too afraid."
Night Flame turned her glare from Isha to Phrixus.
"They are all afraid when they are alone", she said darkly.
"Others will come for the lone ones, to take them back. And when they do, they kill what has threatened their friends."
"Just give it a try. If after a few days you feel the same way, then you can leave again."
She sighed, but before she could say anything, Isha spoke out.
"Please?" the fox said with a pleading look.
"Give him one chance? Please...? I can't smell other humans on him, so maybe he is truly alone and no one's looking for him..."
The lioness looked down at the fox, then sighed in defeat. She hated to admit it, but she wanted company, and the only company she could get was this group... human included.
"Fine", she said grumpily. "I will come with you... But the boy stays away from me."

Phrixus was both surprised and relieved when she agreed to come back. He didn't expect her to, and had pretty much given up, but he was happy that she decided to come.
"I'll still be keeping an eye on him, so I'll make sure he doesn't go near you."
Phrixus then turned and started to walk back.
"Let's see if Ayesha and the human have managed to catch anything."

Thomas lay there on the ground as the liard approached him, was she going to help the other one kill him or was she going to do it all by herself.
Not being able to move as he was still pinned by huge paws, Thomas was breathing heavily and just closeed his eyes, he couldn't and wouldn't look at them any more.
He heard the scuffing on the ground and his body cringed, nothing happened except he felt his dagger land on him and the pressure eased away from his body. His eyes flew open and he quickly grabbed his knife and started to crawl backwards away from them. In doing so he looked at the female and unconsciously stopped... her face looked sad and she just stared at him. His glance then switched to the lion who seemed to be part angry and mocking him.
What was going on.. was he being tested for something.
Taking a breath Thomas stood up while clutching his knife and waited ... yet nothing happened, all they did was stare at him. Acting on instinct, he ignored the male and whoever was behind him and slowly walked towards the white tufted liard.
Placing the knife before her on the ground, Thomas straightened up and bought up a hand and stroked her nose softly while staring at her.
Knowing she wouldn't understand what he was saying, he still spoke to her, it's all he could do.
" I don't know why you are angry at me, but I would never hurt you. I want to live with you all so I'm not alone any more."
Dropping his hand from her body, the boy stepped back and reached for his knife again, not looking at any of them, moved back quickly past ,stopped, turned and recreated what he was going to do before being attacked.
Holding the knife up in his hand, Thomas moved past them all till he reached the antelope and jumped on it slashing it's neck from one side to the other and then moved back turning once more to the liard whilst placing his knife on the ground and pointed at what he had done.

Ayesha watched all that was happening along with Pizeera and Memkria, surely she hadn't misjudged her feelings towards the human boy, he wasn't going to hurt her she was sure of that.
Keeping her eyes on him as he stood, she didn't move a muscle as he approached her, if he stabbed her with his knife, one harsh stroke of her claws would rip him to shreds, so she waited, not realising she was holding her breath.
Blinking quickly, she took a breath when he placed his weapon on the ground and reached up to stroke her skin. Sighing a little Ayesha loved the feel, no one had touched her for so long and found herself pushing alittle into his hand, and then suddenly it was gone.
Watching carefully Ayesha saw him move away and then went to the animal they had bought down and he cut it's neck letting more blood drain away and then turned to them passively staring.
Suddenly it dawned on Ayesha what he had been trying to do, it wasn't to hurt her at all.
Turnng now back to Pizeera who still had Memkria pushed behind him, she stepped closer and bought up a paw and started to stab him on his nose.
" Pizeera... do you see what I see, what the boy has tried to explain what he was doing, he wasn't going to knife me he was trying to help me kill the animal, you silly....idiot. "
Ayesha stopped poking him on his nose and looked back at the boy and gave him a gentle smile and nodded, then turned back to Pizeera.
" Do you agree or not agree that this is what he was trying to do?"
Looking away from him suddenly she could see the bushes and grasses moving from the direction they had come from and looked back at Memkria and Pizeera.
"You'd better make up your mind quick, it looks like someone else is on their way and I don't want anything misconstrued here, we need our stories to be all the same !"

Pizeera stood there watching all that was happening, but he had to agree with Ayesha, it looked like he had got what the boy was doing, wrong.
"I had to be sure Ayesha, none of us trust him like you do, you're lucky it was me and Memkria that were watching out for you, if it had of been Basilisk or NightFlame, that boy would be in worse state than that antelope right now."
Realising that the lioness was still tucked in behind him, Pizeera stepped to the side so she could see what was happening as well.

Memkrias had stood behind Pizeera not moving a inch, for one she did't know how to react - he had literally put her in her place. She face was red and she felt uncomfortably embarised, did she make a fool out of herself? She was't even sure really and she felt confused inside.
Suddenly Pizeera moved out of the way and she realised she had been holding her breath. Breathing out she saw the boy slicing at the dead animal and she tilted her head slightly in puzzlement, she did't understand - was't Pizeera gonna kill him a moment ago.

Ayesha's eys turned from the grasses and watched as the lion moved away from Memkria, finally allowing the liard to look at her.
"What are you blushing for Memkria ? and why are you hiding behind him, can't you look after yourself, or have you always had someone do it for you ?....well ! "

Memkrias looked indignant at Ayesha, at the words she just said to her - she felt her face reddening more and she felt annoyed.
Stomping her foot she announced "I am not hiding at all and what do you think I was doing before you all came along? Waiting to be fed? I am nearly 2 years old I'll have you know!"
Memkrias trembled in anger, she was't a little girl and she could hardly help blushing could she, she turned her back on the liard, why was she being picked on?

Night Flame lifted an eyebrow at this, but said nothing. The liard was hunting with the human? That was new...
Isha was walking next to Night Flame, looking up at the lioness.
"Um... Thanks by the way", she said hesitantly.
"For looking after me, you know."
The lioness glanced down at the fox and nodded slightly. Then the two continued following Phrixus in silence.

Pizeera started laughing out loud at what Memkria had said and the way she turned her back on Ayesha.
"Well liard, looks like she having a hissy fit at you, how you going to sort that one out?"
Moving past Ayesha, Pizeera made his way to where the boy was still crouched down by the antelope, he knew he had to say something to him, he just wasn't sure what.

Not much was said between the group of three as they walked back to where the whole group had been before they all split up.
When they arrived Phrixus saw that there was no one there, so he figured they were all still hunting.
"What do you two wanna do while we wait?"
He sat down and looked at Isha and NightFlame as he waited for an answer.
"We could go find them, or we can wait here for them, or what ever else you guys might have in mind."

Night Flame's words went unheard when the fox dashed towards where she thought the others had gone, not really knowing that it was the completely opposite way.

Isha ran off and Phrixus was left with NightFlame as the two of the stared at the fox as she ran away.
"Do we let her go and see how long it takes her to realize we aren't following? Or do we go after her and tell her she's going the wrong way?"

Pizeera moved until he was as close as he could get to the boy without bumping into him and knocking him over, he wasn't sure what to do as normally he'd just say sorry and get it over with, but now they both couldn't understand what each other was saying.
Standing there not moving now, Pizeera lifted a paw off the ground and placed it on the boys hand waiting till he looked up.

Night Flame sighed. Isha was terribly small, and there were a lot of things that could snatch her as a quick snack. However, the fox had survived this long on her own, so perhaps she wasn't completely defenceless.
"Let her go", she said after a moment.
"I am not completely certain that she will hear us anyway right now. She is a bit over enthusiastic, but she should come to her senses soon."
She smiled faintly.
"I bet though that she will not be pleased with us for not following her, even if it is not the right direction."

Thomas stayed crouching, watching the male discretely, jumping a little when he felt a paw touch him. Holding his breath he waited scrunching up his eyes sure he was about to feel pain, yet nothing happened.
Slowly he opened his eyes staring at the warmth on his hand and gradually tilting his head, Thomas met the lions gaze.
Surprised by what he saw, he lost his balance and toppled backwards ending up sitting on his bottom. He looked past the lion to where the two females were staring at him as well.
Again Thomas wasn't sure what was wanted, but he rose steadily to his feet and turned his back on them, walked to the antelope and started pulling it towards where he knew himself and the liard had come from.

Memkrias watched Pizeera out of the corner of her eye while continuing to show Ayesha she did't like being treated as a little kid. She wondered what was going on when the human started pulling the antelope away. She was just wondering why he was all alone out here when it occured to her, was it a he? maybe it was a her as there was no dangly bit that boys have. Was the human a girl like her too? She was perplex in thought wondering over this as she had no idea the skin covering him was't part of him.

"Well I hope she realizes we aren't following her soon. I wouldn't want something to see her and try to eat her."
Basilisk continued to sit with NightFlame as they waited to see the fox running back to them. He hoped it wouldn't take too long.

Pizeera watched as the boy tried to move the kill, it looked like he needed a hand, these humans didn't have much strength.
About to lean down and dig in his teeth, he looked over to where Memkria and Ayesha were standing there staring.
"You could always help or else lead the way back to where Phrixus and whoever else is left?"
Moving back he stood beside the boy and reached over his teeth bared and sunk them into the still warm flesh, gripping hard and started to pull the carcess away from the bloody mess on the ground.
