Smirking at the lion, Pizeera slowly then turned and looked at the others, his eyes staying on Night Flame who Phrixus was now talking to.
" Everyone has a choice, sometimes you have to take no as an answer when you know something isn't right."
Pizeera moved away and stood at the edge of the river looking around to see if he could see anything of the liard, he thought he saw a patch of white, but when blinked again, it disapeared.

"Do you think you know what was behind the waterfall throwing the rocks?"
Night Flame shook her head at Phrixus.
"I would have no idea", she said. "What ever it is, I have not seen it before."

Night Flame lifted an eyebrow at Pizeera when he spoke his last words. However, she didn't find him important at the moment and turned her attention back to Phrixus.
"Perhaps the creature behind the waterfall has not wished to be in contact with me", she continued with slight amusement in her eyes. "The fox is smaller than I... It is a possibility that what ever the creature is, it wanted to..."
She paused suddenly and eyed at Isha. The fox wasn't paying any attention, but just in case she lowered her voice so that the fox would not hear.
"...perhaps it thought the fox would be a suitable dinner... She is awfully small, and though she seems to think she can take care of herself..."
The lioness shook her head and said no more.

Basilisk looked over to the waterfall, wondering if Ayesha had made it there and found out what it was. No rocks had been coming out of the cave, so maybe it had moved on.
"Well what ever it is seems to have stopped. Think we should go take a look?"

Memkrias had fallen asleep in a instant of closing her eyes and as she lay there on the ground she dreamed. She was dreaming of food, suculent juicey meat... and she drooled in her sleep.
Suddenly she stood up but her face had a strange look in it, for she was still asleep as such. Sleeping walking she began moving towards the others with unseeing eyes. Closing in on the fox her mouth opened wide with drool dripping from it. Closer and closer she got until she was right next to the fox... her mouth began closing to grab it by the neck. Some of the drool dripped down on the neck of Isha as the jaws closed in for a neck hold.

Isha's nose twitched slightly and she frowned. Did something just begin to stink...?
She was startled then when something very wet and slimy fell on her neck. She shrieked, pounced up and instinctively bit the offending creature. Her teeth sunk into the creature's nose, and it was then when the fox realized it was Memkrias. She stared wide-eyed at the lioness and the dreamy look she had on her face, then suddenly released her hold and backed away with her ears flattened and tail tucked between her feet.
"M-memkrias...!" Isha whimpered. "W-what are you...?"

Memkrias awoke with a jump to the fox biting face, and then it jumped away from her, what was going on!
(ooc: if you can call waking from a sleep walk that lol)
Memkrias stood there in shock and amazement and then it was babbling something incomprehensible. Then the shock started subsiding and pain shot up her face from from nose and her eyes watered.
"YEEEAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW" she screamed and ran around frantically as if it was going to make the pain go away but it was't. Her nose was bleeding too and stinging - she started roling her face on the ground and grass trying to make it stop. Why? why had the fox bitten her? She did't understand what was happening but the pain was horrid.

Slowly he pulled himself along the ground, his feathers pulled tightly around him. As he moved his eyes looked all around, watching for anything that moved, he knew one of the animals from the other side had crossed and was lurking somewhere, it was just a matter of who was going to find who first and what would happen if that did.
He was lonely, he'd been out here by himself for along time, all he wanted now was to be among others, yet he knew because he was so different, it wouldn't eventuate, but..just a little but, perhaps.

Ayesha had settled down to wait , her nose and ears were twitching she could hear something, it was so quiet but she knew. Her nose could pick up scents and smells before anyone else could, she would stay put and bide her time.
The next she knew a scream filled the air, she tensed but made herself stay put, something was happening amongst the group on the other side of the river, she almost smiled at the thought that maybe the fox was being taken to task.

Phrixus looked over at Memkrias as she got up and started walking. She had an odd look on her face, but he thought nothing of it. A few moments later she was standing over Isha, with drool dripping out of her mouth.
"YEEEAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW"
Phrixus was startled slightly when Memkrias yelled out in pain and rolled on the ground.
"Are you alright?" He asked her as he made his way over.

Pizeera had turned back from looking over the river and saw Memkria get up and move towards the fox. Not sure what she was going to do as the lioness had kept to herself, he moved a few steps closer, his eyes widening when he thought he saw her try and take a bite from the fox.
A grin came to his muzzle as he knew how this was going to turn out, the fox would retaliate big time.
" Yo, everyone it's a female fight..it's going to happen"
Sitting on his rump the lion burst out laughing, waiting to see who would be the winner and looser.

Isha panicked when Memkria's screamed out in pain and began to run around blindly, blood dripping from her wounded nose.
"Memkrias!" she shouted, her eyes wide in horror for what she had caused.
"Mem... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!"
Her voice trembled and she was blinking her eyes rapidly. It really looked like she meant what she said, and when the lioness began to rub her face on the ground she spoke more.
"Please...? Memkrias, calm down..."
" Yo, everyone it's a female fight..it's going to happen"
Pizeera's words caught Isha completely by surprise, and she turned her horrified eyes at him, watching him laugh.
"THIS AIN'T FUNNY!" she screeched, this time unable to fight off the tears from forming.
"I didn't mean to... mean to... GAH!"
With a quick dash, the fox disappeared through the bushes. Her ears were flattened against her skull and tears streaked down her face while she ran. She really hadn't meant to hurt Memkrias, that was the last thing she would have wanted to do! But the lioness had surprised her, and she had reacted purely on instincts.
Night Flame sighed when the fox fled, and shot a disapproving glare at Pizeera.
"One day that big mouth of yours will get you into more trouble than it is worth", she said bleakly. Then she completely ignored Pizeera and turned to Phrixus.
"I will go find the fox... Try to calm Memkrias, Rubbing her wound on the soil will do her no good."
She paused, glancing worriedly at the lioness.
"I will try to find some herbs while I look for the fox... They will stop infection, though it would be better to get that wound cleaned with water as well."
Without a second word, the dark furred lioness trotted after the fox, trying to follow the small fennec's scent. She knew she could catch up to the critter even by trotting. After all, her feet were longer, and the fox was very small.

Pizeera stopped laughing when he saw the fox was starting to drip tears, seems she had a soft side to her underneath all that snarling and yelling, he was about to say something when she jumped up and her short legs ran her away.
Looking at the others Pizeera stared back.
"What, no one got a sense of humour anymore."
One day that big mouth of yours will get you into more trouble than it is worth",
"What, I'm worse than the fox, but cause she female it's ok ?"

"Alright." Phrixus replied, watching yet another run off.
"Lets see that wound Memkrias." He lifted her paws from her face so he could take a look. It wasn't too bad, but bad enough that it could get infected. "Lets get you to the water and wash that out."

In his strange crouch, he stopped quickly, checking that everything was on him that he might need in case they weren't going to treat him kindly.
Chewing on his bottom lip, he just didn't know what was going to happen, should he just leave them all alone and go back to his hide out behind the waterfall, or should he let his curiosity take full flight and maybe pay the consequences.
Letting his head drop forward onto his chest, a sigh escaped through his lips...what should he do. Bringing up his head, the decision was made, nothing ventured nothing gained .
Crawling forward, he kept an eye on the damp ground in front of him looking for tracks, or for any vegetation that was crushed or bent, but all was fine, seems the creature hadn't come this far yet.
Feeling more hopeful ,he crawled around a small bend and his nose twitched, something was different, a smell that he couldn't recognise was getting stronger. Stopping suddenly his eyes widened, there in front of him was the back end of a... peering more closely he wasn't really sure what it was. He thought it was female, as it was small boned and had a wonderful white fluffy tail that matched the full mane, and the skin was a pearly gray with white patches spread over it, from the parts he couild see.
Why hadn't it turned and attacked him, surely its sense of smell would have warned it he was closer than he should be. Pushing himself up he sat there, his hand on his weapon waiting and then before he could think of what do do, he sneezed.

As she lay there a smile still on her muzzle, she saw a small flower that had dropped from above and was nestled half under a mud strewn leaf. Pulling herself forward a notch by her paws, she scopped it out and held it up to her nose, gently sniffing the aroma.
Oh how she loved all these beautiful things she found, it made her feel special, it didn't matter she was alone and everyone thought she was brainless, she could tune out to them all, she had lots of time over the years to get really good at it.
Her tongue had just poked out to taste the bloom, when she heard a sneeze from behind her. Freezing, the flower dropped from her paw falling to the ground as she slowly turned her head to see what it was. Her eyes bulged, as her mouth fell open and she just stared , too shocked to do anything else.
" YOU...CAN'T....BE, .....there's none of you around here. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, what do I do."

Memkrias wimpered even as she was being helped out with her injured nose, she was young and a little bit of a baby when it came to pain. The water as it was dabbed on her nose by Phrixus was stinging to and she whined "I'm dying, I'm dying" being melodramtic.

Isha's trail was easy to follow for Night Flame, and her long strides quickly allowed her to catch up with the critter. Isha was still running, though her breathing was now considerably heavier, and she was struggling to push herself forward. When the fox well, Night Flame was there to catch her before she stumbled on the ground.
Isha was trembling, and the dark lioness sighed.
"Calm down, fox", she said calmly.
"Your escape does no good... Neither to you, nor to anyone else on the group."
The fox glanced up at Night Flame with tears in her eyes, but she was too exhausted and upset to say anything.
The lioness sighed again.
"Isha, they know you did not mean what you did. Memkrias woke up in the middle of sleepwalking. She was confused and scared when you had suddenly bitten her face. Would you not react similarly if someone did that to you?"
After a moment of silence the fox nodded. Night Flame gave her a small smile.
"Now... Would you be so kind as to come with me? I said I would get some herbs to insure that Memkrias' wound will not get infected."
Isha nodded again, and Night Flame lifted the fox on her back, where the small canine clung on her long mane. Isha struggled for a moment to stay awake and attempt to help the lioness as she moved in search for herbs, but her exhaustion caught up with her and she fell into an unconscious slumber.

Pizeera stood there watching the young lioness carry on, he almost rolled his eyes at the way she was saying "I'm dying, I'm dying", what would happen if she got hurt while out with others for a kill.
"Looks like you got it all under control Phrixus, I'm just going to wander down to the river a little bit, see if I can catch sight of Ayesha at all, when she goes quiet, it's a bit of a worry."

Once the words had left Ayeshas mouth, she stared at it and it stared back at her, neither of them moving, and then he sneezed again making her laugh out loud.
Slowly rising to her paws, she took a few paces towards him and stopped, sitting down on her rump she gave him a little smile, now she would see what would happen, he didn't look dangerous, in fact he looked sad and sort of ...small.
Thomas stayed in his crouching position, pulling his feathered cloak more securely around him, his hand clasped the small dagger he had made, that was his faithful companion, as he watched this female smile at him... well he thought it was a smile, it made her face all pretty.
Now it was his turn... he scooted closer to her, his nose started wiggling as he sniffed the air, smelling her scent..slowly he went from a crouch to leaning up on his knees and his upper body leant over and he quickly licked her cheek before he fell back landing on his bottom on the muddy ground, staring up at her with an astonished look on his face.
Ayesha's smile turned into loud laughter, he was a funny thing. Jumping to her feet she moved standing over him and gave him a nudge with her nose encouraging him to get up.
Turning around she moved past some bushes and was again on the side of the river bank, and who should be there gazing about was Pizeera.
" I'm coming back over and I have something with me, he's mine, no one's allowed to hurt him or I'll get really angry, and you haven't seen me like that yet, so tell the others to be really good."

Night Flame heard Isha's breathing become more even and relaxed, and she knew that the fox was fast asleep. She shook her head slightly as she continued picking the herbs. If the fox was always as energetic as she had seemed to be during the short stay Night Flame had been with the group, it was a surprise she hadn't drifted off to sleep earlier.
When she began to head back to the group with the herbs she had sought for, she remembered that Memkrias wasn't the only one in need of slight inspection. The fox had bled earlier, and the dark lioness thought it'd be better to check what type of injury she had gotten.

The cold water did smart on her wound, but Memkrias was starting to calm down as her heart rate and beathing lessened. The Adrenulin was disappearing from her body and she took as deep breath, she still did't understand quite what had happened though.
She looked about, was it just her and Phrixus here, what happened to everyone else? Even that grumpy lion was gone never mind that dumb fox. She sighed to herself, talk about make a girl feel left out, whether it was intended or not.

Phrixus could barely hear Ayesha's words, but he could make out what she was saying. He looked up to see if everyone else had heard, but everyone was gone except for Memkrias.
"Odd. Where did they all go?"
