Sera got to the shore and shook the water out of her fur, Jabari was the only one in her immediate sight. Sefu, it seemed, had wandered off somewhere. She was about to walk over to the cheetah when she almost tripped over Kabechet.
The cobra hissed slightly, but to Sera's relief not threateningly. She then took a better look at the snake, confused as to why she would just lay there, unmoving.
"I need a moment", Kabechet said quietly right before Sera could ask if she was ok. "The water cooled down my body, I need to regain the heat."
Sera blinked, and decided to leave the snake be. Following Sefu's scent, and it didn't take her long to locate him. What made her halt though was the scene folding in front of her. Karensha was apparently scolding some lioness - whom Sera had never seen before - for abandoning Maji, while said lioness claimed not to know who the cub was, all the while Sefu said he had trouble remembering anything.
Sera was so baffled by the whole situation that she just sat down and watched, by no means hidden or anything so it'd just be a matter of time until one of them noticed her.

Meri stood at the shore, breathing heavily even after the fight with the crocodiles was over. She wasn't sure whether or not she'd like to go near this particular water source ever again. Shivering, she took a few steps back, glancing around herself in an attempt to see if there was any more danger, and whether or not the others were ok. At first she didn't see anyone, and she let out a slightly paniced whimper. She was relieved when she caught Jabari looking at her at the opposite side of the water. She visibly relaxed, and smiled faintly at the cheetah as she began to make her way towards him. ooc: Time to catch up  Sorry I had to post Sera and Meri separatedly. Proboards, it seems, won't let me make posts that are "too long". <.< |

Sefu was comfy and didn't hear anything the others were saying, even when Karensha was talking to him. Everything seemed fine until he felt a sudden stabbing pain and Karensha yelling his name at the same time. All he could do was cringe in pain before pulling away, confused of what was happening.
"What the hell was that for!" he said to the leopard, "You couldn't just shake me or something to wake me up, you had to go with claws in the skin."

Karensha's eyes opened wider when the lion retaliated as she tapped him harder, it seemed he was feeling a bit more sore than he was letting on perhaps.
"Stop being a baby for goodness sake.. I'm looking after you, last thing you can do is fall asleep in case you hit your head harder than you realise and you stay asleep. Didn't help you fight off those crocodiles just so you can up and become a carcass yourself... so get used to it."
Sighing, Karensha laid back and looked over to the lioness she thought Maji belonged to, but it seemed she had gone to sleep as well, looked like her and Sefu had something in common. Grinning to herself she heard another noise and slowly looked over her shoulder to see the cheelion just sitting watching what was happening. Karensha stared, her eyes moving over the females face, coming to rest upon the diamond spot on her forehead and the marks above and below her eyes, she still wasn't sure what to make of her, just knew that for some reason they both seemed to get the others back up.
" What's happening with Jabari, the snake and your little pet ,they coming to join us ?"

Sera resisted the urge to sneer at Karensha's choise of words, and forced her face to remain blank. Oh she wanted to snap back at the leopard so much, but seeing as that never got them anywhere she chose not to.
"Meri's not my 'pet', she's her own person, just scared of pretty much everything. I left Jabari wait for her, she was still at the opposite side of the water last time I saw her. And your slithering little friend said she needed to soak some more in the sunlight. Apparently cold water's not very good for snakes."
Her gaze flicked at the new lioness and the sarcastic tone that had seeped into her voice on her last remark vanished when she spoke again. "Now who's this?"

Naheera lay there pretending she wasn't listening to everything that was said and tried to hold back a smirk when the females were talking to the male, it was obvious that he had hit his head really hard and was now suffering, and the snow leopard was trying to look after him.
"Now who's this?"
Opening an eye Naheera looked over the cheelion
" And who wants to know ?"

Sefu just sat back and relaxed as the leopard went over to talk to the Cheelion. He was able to hear what they were saying since he wasn't too far away from them. It didn't take long before they were asking who the lioness was and it seemed like the lioness wanted to answer.
"I do believe her name is Naheera," He told the cheelion, "Now what's yours?"

Sera lifted an eyebrow slightly at the lioness. Her thought was how rude that was, but then again she hadn't introduced herself either, so...
However, before she could give her name, Sefu spoke out.
"I do believe her name is Naheera. Now what's yours?"
The cheelion blinked her eyes.
"Just how hard did you hit your head?" she wondered quietly, shaking her head.
"Name's Sera. I believe me and Karensha saved your butt from one of the crocs back at the waterhole - right before one of them hit you in the head it would seem."

Naheera watched the lion tell them her name, almost smiling to herself she was glad that he had remembered, but listening to the other two females standing there, it looked like the male either was pretending he didn't know them or somehow he had forgotten everything.
Smiling, Naheera thought she would have some fun here and see what would happen.
"Oh, Sefu and myself, we know each other from a long way back, close friends you might say, isn't that right Sefu?"
Naheera stared at the snow leopard who looked like she was going to place her paw on the males head again, but decided not too and then looked over at the cheelion.

Jabari stood there, not taking his eyes off the small lioness as she stared back from over the other side. Nodding his head in encouragement he tensed wondering if she would actually get in the water and come over to him , seeing she was the only one left, or would he have to go back over and retrieve her.''
Relaxing his stance a little he just about smiled as she entered the water of her own accord and started paddling slowly to where he waited, as she stroked her way Jabari's blue eyes surveyed left and right making sure it was safe and no more crocodiles were watching as well.
As she got nearer, the cheetah shouted out some encouraging words and then suddenly realised what he was actully doing and slammed his mouth shut, and if anyone saw him wouldn't believe he was blushing.
Turning his head slightly he had forgotten all about the cobra as he was concentrating on Meri, but she was still lying there curled up. Knowing he should say something, but not sure what, he pressed his lips together and stared at her some more before speaking quietly.
" I must offer my thanks for your help in saving Sefu and possibly Karensha and the cub, you seem to want to be amongst us, I hope what you did goes some way to help the situation between you and Karensha."
Turning away Jabari watched as Meri finally reached the shore and started to pull her self from the water.

Smiling and laughing a bit from embarrasment, Sefu remained stayed quiet for a bit until the Naheera started to say something.
"Oh, Sefu and myself, we know each other from a long way back, close friends you might say, isn't that right Sefu?"
Sefu just listened to her as the lioness was telling her fictitious little story of how they knew each other. He already knew that they never met before, but he also knew that it would be a bit of fun to just go with the story for now.
"Ah yes, how could I forget. I always remembered that you had a crush on me but I didn't think you would chase me this far."

Naheera bit down on her bottom lip trying not to laugh, it looked like the lion had a sense of humour after all.
" Crush on you, well that's not what I would have called it, I seem to remember everytime you saw me you tripped over those large paws of yours and hit the ground."
The lioness looked at the others just standing there staring at her and Sefu and grinned.
" So.. is there anymore of you hiding around in the bushes I should meet?"

Sera fought to keep the laugh at bay at Sefu and Naheera's banter. She wasn't completely successful though, and the corners of her mouth twitched slightly upwards.
"So.. is there anymore of you hiding around in the bushes I should meet?"
This time she did chuckle aloud.
"Oh, just a cheetah and another lioness, back at the waterhole", she said, then paused and let a grin spread on her lips.
"Oh and also a snake about two or three times as long as you are."
"-- I hope what you did goes some way to help the situation between you and Karensha."
Kabechet snorted faintly at Jabari's words.
"I rather doubt it", she said, trying to find a warmer spot on the sun-heated rocks.
"Sshe hass never really liked me. Can't blame her, I wassn't alwayss pleassant company - not ssure if I'll ever be in her eyess."
She saw Meri make it across the water and decided it was time to ignore everyone for now. She curled herself on a tight coil, intending to warm up enough to actually keep up with the felines if they decided to start moving.
Meri shook her fur dry when she had finally crossed the water. She had heard Jabari shout out some encouraging words earlier, and she was now watching him curiously to see why he had suddenly stopped. When she realized she had been staring she averted her gaze, feeling a bit embarrassed and having absolutely no idea what to do.

Jabari stood there watching closely as Meri finally made it to shore and clambered out onto firm ground shaking the excess water from her body and then her eyes met his and all it seemed he could do was stare back not knowing what to say, and he felt sure if he did it would probably be all nonsense anyway.
Just as he was about to turn away, the lioness lowered her eyelashes breaking contact first and Jabari was left standing there, with the snake curled up beside him.
" what do I say...what do I say."
Coughing to clear his throat, the cheetah turned the damaged side of his face away from her and gruffly spoke to no one in general, but still spoke.
"Well I'm glad we're all safe now, and we're together and from what I can tell we're all unharmed. Better catch up with the others and see what's happening."

Naheera watched the cheelions amused look on her face as she was telling what others were still to join the party.
"well you certainly do come in a real variety now. What exactly is going to happen once you're all together? You going to linger and bring me lunch, or are you all moving on ?"

Sefu wasn't really paying attention to the others until he heard the word lunch. Even if most of his memories were gone, he could still remember that food was always a good thing.
"I wouldn't mind some food," He sayed to the others, "Is there any good hunting spots around?"

Karensha stood there, watching the new female and Sefu talking back and forth, since they had somehow all come together, she had never heard him talk so much. How well did the lioness and Sefu know each other.

Blinking Karensha moved a step closer to the female and looked her over
"Is there some reason you can't get to your paws and find your own lunch ?"
And then to top it off Sefu chimed in with his little add on
"I wouldn't mind some food,"
"What do I look like, your servant or something ? When you hit your head, did you loose some brains from your skull at the same time ?"
Stepping back karensha looked quickly towards the cheelion and then over her shoulder to see Jabari and the small lioness come towards them.

Sera narrowed her eyes at Naheera when she suggested they should bring her lunch. Karensha beat her to it before she could say anything, but she made sure to give a disapproving glare at Naheera either way. When Sefu agreed with the lioness, the cheelion's glare turned on him.
"What do I look like, your servant or something ? When you hit your head, did you loose some brains from your skull at the same time ?"
While Sera did agree with Karensha, she didn't really say it aloud. Instead she opted to scan the area just in case she saw something that would look edible. Not that she would hunt for these two, but at least she could point them there and maybe get rid of the annoying remarks.
Meri frowned slightly when Jabari turned his head so that she couldn't see his face completely. She knew why he was doing that, but the scars didn't really bother her - she had her own share of them. But in part she also understood why he might want to not let her see them, since she was doing that too with the hair falling over her face.
"Well I'm glad we're all safe now, and we're together and from what I can tell we're all unharmed. Better catch up with the others and see what's happening."
The white lioness smiled faintly and began to walk towards where the others had gone.

Naheera's eyes opened fully this time as she stared at the leopard. Pushing herself to her feet she moved over to sit beside the lion and leant down towards his head.
" psss, I think your friend needs to chill, she seems to be a bit uptight, or.. is she your girlfriend, it's a bit hard to tell when the other female is glaring at me and you too ?"

"I honestly don't know," Sefu whispered to the lioness, "But I don't think she is."
Sefu then saw two others coming towards the group, A small lioness and a badly scarred cheetah. Seeing the scars on the cheetah made Sefu stare for a bit wondering how the cheetah's face ended up like that before turning back to Sera.
"So who are these two who are coming here now?"
