Isha frowned in frustration at Ayesha and Pizeera.
"Can you two just shut it?" she hissed with a displeased expression. "I'm trying to listen!"
She glanced at the human by her side to see if he had spotted anything further, only to realize he was no longer there but walking once again behind her. She narrowed her eyes at him and shook her head. He sure seemed to be very protective of her. Sure she knew she was small and a likely target should an attack come. But she hadn't survived outside her desert home and the safety of her pack for this long if she didn't know how to take care of herself.
Besides, should she actually be caught, she still had claws and sharp teeth. The boy, from what she had seen, had only very blunt teeth and nails, with the small pointy object as his only weapon. Take away his weapon of choice... Yeah, not very smart of him.
So she pointedly glared at the human before letting her gaze soften and turn back to their surroundings. She brushed her tail softly against his leg, trying to tell him without words that while she appreciated his concern, she would take care of herself.

Ayesha's eyes moved from the male over to where the fox was cosying up with Thomas.Stopping she left the cub and moved back about to pass Pizeera looking at him with a smirk
"I think she was meaning you" and carried onto to where Isha was.
"So what's the problem ?"

Thomas had thought they'd all carried on, leaving him to his own devices, and almost jumped when he felt soft fur rubbing up and down his leg. Looking down quickly he met the piercing eyes of the small fox, seems he was going to have her for company and she wasn't willing to move ahead.
Nodding his head at her, Thomas again turned and stared along the track that they had just come from.
Standing on the other side of the boy, Ayesha nudged his arm with her nose to get his attention and stared in the same direction that he was still gazing.

Memkrias looked back and forth between the members, her head tilted slightly, it felt like there was a uneasy air happening at the moment. And honestly if there was something trailing them she felt that she'd rather prefer to see the creature first before having it pounce on her and so she stayed were she was.

Thomas hadn't realised that everyone had stopped moving forward until he turned slightly with Ayesha rubbing his arm.
How on earth was he going to explain to them that he only sensed but hadn't actually seen something trailing them and wasn't sure if they were in danger or not.
Raising his head, he looked first at Ayesha and then he started sniffing the air, looking back from where they had come and then he bought a hand up and rested it under her chin, and pointed her head in the same direction and then sniffed again.
Looking down at the small fox he inclined his head, prompting her to do the same, if they both couldn't sense anything, he'd have to give it a rest, but kept a closer eye out.

"I think he sensed something", Isha replied, her senses still focused on their surroundings.
Just as she had managed to say that, she heard the human make loud, sniffing noises. Curious, she turned her gaze on him. She was pretty sure he couldn't smell any better no matter how much air he dragged in through his nose. But as she saw him point Ayesha's head towards where he seemed to think he had sensed something, the fox understood what he had wanted.
"Can you smell anything?" Isha asked quietly, turning her gaze where the boy had turned Ayesha's head. "Because I can't. Can't even hear anything that's amiss, and for some reason right now it makes me really nervous."

Sighing, Pizeera started mumbling under his breath about everything being a drama now the human was with them, he should have given him a good swipe as soon as Ayseha had gone off.
Loking down at the cub and then to Memkria, he nodded his head and turned.
"Come on, we'd better see what the problem is now, get rid of the kid, get rid of the problem I say."

"Can you smell anything? ..because I can't. Can't even hear anything that's amiss, and for some reason right now it makes me really nervous." Ayesha heard Isha tell her.
Taking a couple of steps forward on the path they had just walked, Ayesha stopped and tilted her head slightly sniffing and then moved her head from side to side her eyes glancing over the trees and bushes.
" There's nothing out there that I can sense, I don't really know what he might have seen or heard, so maybe we should just forget about it and carry on ?"
Stepping back to the side of Thomas, the liard leant in licked his cheek and just smiled, before nudging him around in a half circle, pointing him to the way they should be going.
" If you want to walk with him and watch him, feel free. If you hear or see something, just yell out."
Moving around them Ayesha went to walk past the monkey, but paused and spoke to him.
"Is there anything you think we should know about monkey ? Is it something you can explain as to what the boy is sensing?"

Joju looked at Ayesha and hobbled over
"Mmmm does kitty witty nitty have any tasty buggies crawling on her??"
in response to her question and he looked at the human and put a hand to ear as listening and nodding his head before clapping his hands
"The thing says that it was dropped on head at birth and its completely crazy but not to worry cause the furry brush will get eaten first"
He crack out laughing and hopped away but headed towards a tree to climb up it cause he was't that insane as to not smell anything even if rest were useless lot.

Memkrias followed closely to Pizeera, he was a big strong male after all, it was safer to do so.

"Yeah, maybe..." Isha replied uncertainly.
The fox remained by the boy's side, flicking her large ears as she tried to listen for any strange sounds. She watched as the liard walked ahead and stopped by to speak with the monkey. She didn't hear what Ayesha asked from him, but she did hear what the monkey replied.
"The thing says that it was dropped on head at birth and its completely crazy but not to worry cause the furry brush will get eaten first."
She gaped after the laughing monkey as he headed towards a tree to climb up to it. How rude! She'd have to show him she wasn't just a defenseless "furry bush", as he had called her. But now was not the time for that, no. She needed to wait for the right moment.

Pizeera stood there watching the monkey rush off and climb a tree, while the fox watched. Ayesha and the boy stayed where they were just staring back the way they had come.
Stepping up beside the liard Pizeera raised his head and looked all around while his ears twitched, he still couldn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary.
"why don't we just carry on the way we were going and we all listen and see if anything follows us, for all we know, it's just a silly trick the boy is playing on us."

Sighing a little at the lion, she turned to face him.
"I don't think it's a trick... ok, obviously something got his attention, and for some reason none of us heard or can smell it, but I think we should move away from here and see what happens. Maybe you should be at the back and see if there's anything you can pick up."
Moving up next to Thomas, Ayesha rubbed her cheek on his arm and pushed him forward, nudging him back in the right direction. Looking down at Isha, Ayesha gave a small smile.
"if you want to walk with him, feel free.... and keep on your guard, something is amiss no matter what pizeera says and grumbles about."
The liard walked back past them all and slowly lifted her paws and headed off thru some shrubs, parting the way with her shoulders.

"Lets go then, I'm sure it's ok"

Thomas watched the faces of the others, it seemed that they were hesitant to take his word that he knew something was out there, they had all looked and sniffed the air, but it wasn't enough.
The liard had turned around and was headed back the way she had come, stupid monkey was up a tree jabbering away, Thomas stood there trying not to look angry. His eyes landed on the lion and lioness, he still wasn't sure about those two, and then finally the fox.
Looking down at her, Thomas raised his eyebrow and then bought his hands up giving her a shooing motion trying to move her along as well, he wanted to be the one at the back of their pack.
Knowing she couldn't understand him anyway, Thomas still spoke.
" Come on little thing, get a move on, can't have you getting lost, you seem to be the only one that's taking this seriously."

Pizeera stood there about to grumble, when the liard said she was carrying on and that was that.
"First good idea she's had in a while."
Slowly they all turned and started to move, Pizeera wasn't going to be the one to come up last, let the kid, maybe if it was anything he'd get eaten, and save them all alot of trouble.
Moving behind Memkria, Pizeera leant in close to her ear
"Booo".. with a smirk on his face he carried on past, trying to catch up to Ayesha.

Isha nodded in agreement to Ayesha's words. She would've continued walking with the boy either way. Somehow he hadn't managed to annoy her yet, and she appreciated that very much.
Unlike certain monkey, who was rambling on about foxes and winter coats - what ever the later was.
The fennec gritted her teeth and shot a glare towards the monkey, knowing full well that it wouldn't stop him from rambling on and would most likely only make it worse. She sighed and gave up, deciding that ignoring would work much better.
She caught the human saying something. She turned to look at him, wondering what he wanted, and saw him making shooing motions at her.
"This'd be sooo much easier if we could understand each other, ya know", she said quietly, trying to come up with some way to signal him that she understood. In the end she wagged her tail slightly and brushed her side against his leg before she moved forward, her large ears still flicking around as she listened to their surroundings.

Memkrias jumped slightly as suddenly Pizeera whispered in her ear
"boo"
Then he went of ahead to where Ayesha was. Memkrias stared after him a little surprised before smiling to herself, she'd have to think of something.

Ayesha had started walking again, hoping that all the others were behind her, if anything was following them, she hoped between them all, they would figure something out.
Hearing steps behind her, she sniffed the air delicately, grinning as Pizeera came up beside her, both of them now walking side by side.
" so Pizeera, you really think the boy is making something up, or you're just behaving like that because he's more aware of everything going on around us."
Ducking her head quickly to go under a branch that was poking out, the white fur from her tuft caught and held her pulling the fur up on end, making Ayehsa come to a stop rather then have it pulled out.
"ouch.. help me out here !"

Pizeera heard the liards questions and was about to answer her when her fur got caught up in some branches they were ducking under, holding her still.
Walking around her now with a grin on his face, Pizeera made clicking noises with his tongue.
" well, well what have we here. Looks like someone's going nowhere in a hurry."
The male decided to have a little bit of fun and picked up a big leaf and started tickling her under her chin.
"come on little girl what you going to do now?"

Isha's ears twitched when she heard Ayesha's distress. She turned her gaze at the liard just in time to see Pizeera begin to tease her. The fennec rolled her eyes slightly.
"Stop annoying her, Pizeera", she muttered softly and then gave a small glance at the human beside her. He had a pair of hands, didn't he? He could help Ayesha better than any of them, except the monkey, perhaps. But Isha didn't really trust the monkey not to cause any more trouble for the liard.
And so the fennec nudged the human's leg with her nose, then motioned towards the distressed liard with her head, trying to silently ask him to help Ayesha.

Thomas could see the liard up ahead struggling to free herself, while the lion stood to one side smirking, he wasn't sure if he wanted to tangle with him as he knew the lion was just waiting for an excuse to use his teeth on him, but when he looked down at the fox seeing she was nudging him and saw that she too was watching what was happening to Ayesha, he took a breath and walked past the lioness and approached the liard.
Stopping to her side, he stood between her and Pizeera and found that he was clenching his hand into a fist and it was slowly coming up towards the lion. Gritting his teeth, his fingers uncurled and his hand instead reached out towards Ayesha and gently he held her fur tuft, while his other hand pulled the white fur away from the branches it had become entangled with.
Satisfied it was finally all free, Thomas stroked her head and then stepped back on purpose pushing hard against the lion who hadn't moved and elbowed him in his chest, Thomas making sure he put some effort into it.
Turning he quickly made his way back to stand once more beside the small fox and waited for any repercusions.
