"You expect me to believe that you want to stay out here for just one night? I'm no fool Karensha, I know that you wanted to run away, and I know you don't intend on coming back, everybody does. Now, if you'll come with me we can head back, and I'll make sure nothing happens to you. This is the last time I'm going to ask you politely."
Sitting there on her rump, one eyebrow raised a fraction at what he was spitting out at her, karensha knew there was no way he would agree to staying out any longer, she just wasn't sure why he wanted her back with her father so sudden, the longer she stayed away the more time he had to sway her father with his ideologies.
"NO... I'm not going with you Naheem, I said I was staying here till the morning and that is what I'm doing, and besides wouldn't it better for you if I didn't go back, then all your plotting and planning could finally come to fruition, don't think I don't know you Naheem, I've watched and listened to you for a long time, especially all those times you didn't know I was there."

Naheem sat stunned for a moment, he should have been more careful and made sure no one was listening all those times when he planned with others. After thinking about the situation for a moment, an evil smile quickly spread across his face.
"Well, now you've made things a bit tougher for yourself."
He began slowly circling around her, laughing a bit.
"You know too much about my plans, so I can't let you come back now. You could give away my plans, and I don't want that. The smartest thing to do would be to kill you right here and now, but I have another choice for you. You come back with me now, and help me kill your father. I know how much you hate him, so it shouldn't be a problem. Afterwards, I will rule the pride with you as my queen."
He kept circling around her, giving her a bit of time to think about it.
"So, whats it going to be Karnesha? Are you going to help me kill your father and rule with me, or should I just kill you right here?"

Karensha stood to her feet slowly as Naheem addressed her in his smug voice, as he slowly circled around her. Once he had moved away from being able to look at the hill, she raised her head and stared where she hoped Basilisk was still waiting, and then moved her gaze back onto the white lion.
"Well, now you've made things a bit tougher for yourself." Giving a laugh, Karensha then smirked at him. "Look at you.... you think you are something worthy of greatness and to be respected by everyone, when you're nothing but a common thug. I have more 'pure' blood in me than you have in your right paw, and then thats all muddy and murky. You and father both need to be disposed of, you're both as evil as each other, you really make a great pair, rather ironic, when you both plot each others downfall but face to face , you bow and scrape."
Pausing for a moment the snow leopard, waited for some sort of reteliation, but it seemed he had more to throw at her.
Amazed at what had passed his lips, the snow leopard burst into laughter at him. "You rule the pride ! and I'm to be your queen, that's the biggest joke I've heard in a long time, what you don't realise is Naheem is that you're more hated by all than my father, ironic that you take the prize there.... and as for Queen there's no way even one paw of yours is touching me....your Queen, another laugh for me I think."
Stepping back away from him, slowly she unsheathed her claws and started to move into 'protective' position. "So, whats it going to be Karensha? Are you going to help me kill your father and rule with me, or should I just kill you right here?"
"Looks like you better show me what you're made of, you've always sent your lackies to do your dirty work in the past." Not giving him any time, Karensha launched herself at the ground under him, her claws digging in and raking his underbelly, feeling flesh tear, caught in her nails.

"I know they haven't been away that longwith a quiet voice, but it doesn't change the fact that I've got a bad feeling about this..."
Jabari looked over to where Sera lay, catching her frown. "If you need to go look for yourself then go, a person should always trust their instincts. I can't go, there's three of them there already, those two behind me, aren't mentally or physically strong to be leaving here, let alone seeing/hearing what might be happening further afield.... I'm needed here not there."

"Why don't you just leave? You can tell the others we'll be back soon enough."
"Then if you don't come back soon, I will probably have to track you kids again. Something I don't feel like doing."
Sefu kept his eyes closed, just listening to what was happening between the leopard and lion. The conversation lasted a while it seemed but was starting to come to an end. He suddenly heard someone lunge at the other and opened one of his eyes to see what was going on. Picking his head up, Sefu continued to stay laying down just to watch at what was happening.
"Looks like you might want to help your little friend, kid. Dragging a corpse back to the group sounds like to much work if she gets killed."
Sefu sounded completely uncaring of the actual well-being of the leopard, only worried about if he would have to do extra work. Still staying in the same spot, he just waited for the lion beside him to do something about the fight.

"Looks like you better show me what you're made of, you've always sent your lackies to do your dirty work in the past."
Just as the words reached his ears Karensha lunged at him and sank her claws into his stomach. He quickly jumped away, and then lunged back at her, digging his claws into her chest. He ripped at her flesh and pushed her to the ground on her back.
"You can't beat me, I've taught you everything you know. This was a foolish choice on your part."
He sank his claws into her stomach now, but continued to stare into her eyes. He had failed to realize that he left her hind legs free.

"Then if you don't come back soon, I will probably have to track you kids again. Something I don't feel like doing."
"Why couldn't have one of the others come instead of him?" He thought to himself
"Looks like you might want to help your little friend, kid. Dragging a corpse back to the group sounds like to much work if she gets killed."
He looked up and saw that Karensha and Naheem had finally begun fighting. He watched very closely, making sure Karensha could handle him by herself.
"She doesn't want me to do anything until she calls my name. So, I'll stay back until she does."
He continued to watch and listen, making sure he would be able to hear her if she did call.

" Damn, I didn't have enough force to dig harder into his skin, he hardly flinched."
Just as she was about to have another swipe at him, his body contorted as he swung around and came at her, pushing her to the ground. Feeling his claws rake at her chest, she felt the pain but didn't even acknowledge it, not letting him see any emotions on her face. As he held her down, he ripped again at skin on her stomach, Karensha relaxed her body, making him think she had relaxed her stance a bit.
"You can't beat me, I've taught you everything you know. This was a foolish choice on your part."
Bringing her head up off the ground, Karensha swallowed then rolled around the saliva in her mouth, and then opened her lips slightly and spat up in his face, making sure it covered his eyes. As he closed them briefly, she made a move with her back legs bringing them up claws extended she dug in and raked them over the hanging sacs, inflicting as much damage as she could, while hearing him scream out in pain and anger. Rolling away panting, she lept to her feet.
"That should stop you from taking innocents for a while, come on Naheem, show me what you're made of, or have you turned into an old lazy man sitting on your rump all day, making others run around after you."

Naheem kept staring into her eyes, he felt he was so close to winning. All of a sudden she spat into his eyes. He brought up a paw to wipe the spit away, when he did she used her hind legs, with claws unsheathed, and hit him in the family jewels. He lept off her yelling in pain. Luckily, she had only cut them, there was no tear, he would be able to fight through the pain.
"That should stop you from taking innocents for a while, come on Naheem, show me what you're made of, or have you turned into an old lazy man sitting on your rump all day, making others run around after you."
He charged at her once more and tackled her to the ground. carrying the momentum of the tackle, they continued to roll and splashed into the water. Naheem quickly brought his head up for a breath, and saw Karensha still under the water. He grabbed her, and held her under so that she couldn't come up for another breath.

Sefu continued to watch as the two cats fought with one another. It seemed that these two had quiet a hateful history with one another due to how relentless they were with harming each other. Still not wanting to get into any of the action, he looked over at Basilisk to see if he was still waiting there. Of course the lion was still just watching since his name wasn't called.
Looking back over to the leopard and lion who were fighting, it seemed that they made their way to the water. He saw that the lion was now holding Karensha under the water, trying to drown her. Sefu got a bit worried for the leopards fate since there was a chance of the lion killing her now.
"So you can't go until she calls your name? Well, that's going to be hard fo her to do when her lungs are filled with water."

((OOC: WOAH guys, that's a lot of posts in one night. XDD))
"If you need to go look for yourself then go, a person should always trust their instincts. I can't go, there's three of them there already, those two behind me, aren't mentally or physically strong to be leaving here, let alone seeing/hearing what might be happening further afield.... I'm needed here not there."
Sera nodded slowly, understanding why Jabari didn't want to leave. She wasn't all too fond of following Karensha either, though her reasoning was different from the cheetah's. Sefu and Karensha had offended her, and the only one she really slightly cared about was Basilisk. The lion, however, seemed like he could take care of himself without help.
Thus, the cheelion remained, watching over the group, even though she herself didn't realize she was guarding them.
Well that was certainly interesting. She had been watching the strange group of cats for quite a while now, hidden deep in the water. Her dark scales gave her the perfect camouflage, even the leopard hadn't noticed her when she had been swimming.
What interested her wasn't the discussion between the cheetah and the strange, spotted cat. No, it were the two other felines present. The white lioness and the small cub. Their interaction was certainly enternaining. The lioness was, from what she had gathered, afraid of other lions, and the cub in turn didn't seem to trust anyone else than Karensha.
Ah... Karensha... She wondered momentarily how the leopard was fairing at the moment.
She smirked, and slowly made her way towards the far end of the water where the grass grew tallest and poked out from the water itself. It was there where she carefully surfaced, making sure her slithering body was well hidden from sight as she disappeared into the tall grass and began to quietly circle around the water towards the white lioness and the cub.
Certainly things would soon become interesting enough.

Basilisk continued watching and listening closely, he needed to be sure she wasn't able to kill him by herself before he jumped up. There was a lot of scratching and clawing, until finally one tackle sent them both into the water. Naheem now held Karensha under.
"So you can't go until she calls your name? Well, that's going to be hard for her to do when her lungs are filled with water."
"That thought had crossed my mind. If in a few more moments, things still look bad for her I'll jump up."
Basilisk unsheathed his claws and put them on top of the ledge. He counted down the seconds until he would make his move.

Maji gave a little yawn as he sat there watching the water as shadows moved under the water. He wondered what had happened to Karensha, she'd been a long time and it was making him feel nervous.

Karensha felt his front paws come stamping down on her, holding her under the water, she put up a struggle fighting as Naheem would expect, her own claws scraping down his.
Biding her time, as there was one thing the white lion didn't know about her. When he was 'occupied at night' that was the time she always made her way down to the river to swim, it was something she enjoyed, letting her relax and wash away the days trials and more often than not ease her aching muscles and bruises from the workouts she endured, in fact she had a few surprises up her sleeve so to speak.
Slowly Karensha made herself go limp letting her paws fall away from him, and she got her breathing under control, she had practised this many a time, surprising the other females who had come to the river for a swim or drink, by surfacing from under the water unexpectedly, all she had to do was wait him out, hoping in his anger he would just push her away like the piece of rubbish he always treated her, then her next strike would begin, maybe she might even let Basilisk come and join in, if that was, if he was still there.

Naheem continued to hold her under, and it didn't seem like much of a challenge. He had thought she'd be stronger than this. After a while her body went limp, no longer putting up any fight.
"No, it couldn't have been that easy," he thought to himself.
He shook her body a bit, and then brought her head up above the water so that he could check and see that she was actually dead.

As soon as she felt herself being lifted upwards, karensha wanted it over and done with, she thought she would want a long drawn out fight with Naheem, just to prove to him she was the better person and see him die in agony for all the evil he had comitted, including murdering her brother, now for some reason she just wanted him dead and soon.
Her head just broke the surface when she launched herself at him, her teeth ripping into his nose and cheek, blood and skin filling her mouth, spitting it out she screamed out to Basilisk.

Sefu looked over at the lion beside him and saw that basilisk seemed almost ready to jump out there. He then focused back on to the two fighting and it seemed like the lion had won the battle. Lifting the leopard's head out of the water, it seemed like the lion wasn't sure whether or not Karensha was dead.
"Looks like you might be a little late on your attack, but I suggest you go out there and find out."
Suddenly, the leopard attacked the lion which surprised Sefu. He finally heard Basilisks named called and looked over to him.
"Well, about time I guess. I'll help if you start losing, but it looks like the leopard tired him out enough." He said before Basilisk ran off.

Basilisk continued to count down, and it looked like time would run out before Karensha got back on the offensive. Just as he was about to jump the ledge and run after Naheem, she jumped out of the water and bit into his face, at the same time yelling Basilisk out loud.
Basilisk sank his claws into the ground and hopped over the ledge, running as fast as he could towards Naheem. When he was about a few strides away he jumped into the air and tackled him. Basilisk had Naheem on his back, so he pushed Naheem's head on its side and pushed it into the ground, making sure he couldn't get up and keeping his neck exposed.
"It's about time. I thought I would just have to sit and watch the whole time."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Naheem was checking out Karensha to make sure he was dead, she jumped at him and bit his face. It seemed she had tricked him, and she did a good job of it too. As he continued fighting with her she started yelling out "Basilisk".
"Who's Basilisk?" Naheem asked himself.
His question was quickly answered when something tackled him, sending him down to the ground and onto his back. His head was then pushed sideways into the ground.
"Who the hell is this?" He asked Karensha, just barely able to say the words.

She was now directly behind the cub and white lioness, staring at them from the shadows with unblinking eyes. She flicked her forked tongue in and out, tasting their scents in the air. There was no scent of alertness. No one had yet noticed her presence.
She smirked. This was all too easy...
With a swift push of her tail she was on the move, slithering fast through the terrain and closing in the space between herself and her target. In an instant she was beside the white lioness, and with one stong push of her body she tackled the cub with her head, curling herself around the cub so that he would have no chance to escape. She didn't bite the cub, he would be no use to her dead.
Besides... She would certainly enjoy seeing this odd group's reactions to what she had done.
Meri didn't see it coming until she heard something move right beside her. Startled, she turned her head and with a loud yelp of surprise she pounced backwards from her spot. She mentally cursed herself for having a blind eye, for if she didn't she would have seen the attacker before it would have had the chance to attack Maji.
She was at loss of what to do. She stared at the small cub that was held by a very long, black cobra. Her only relief was that the snake hadn't bit Maji - yet anyway.
Sera heard Meri's yelp and turned to look at her in surprise. Her eyes widened and instantly she was on her feet when she saw the large cobra hold Maji.
"Jabari!" Sera called out for the cheetah, just in case he had missed Meri's yelp.
The cobra turned to look at her, and then at the cheetah, before releasing a hissing laugh.
"I would advisse you to sstay where you are", the cobra said with a hissing voice. "Unless you wissh thiss ssmall one dead."

Karensha stood there ,a low growl coming from her mouth as she once again spat out foreign blood. She had screamed out for Basilisk, not really expecting him to come and yet there he was. Panting she watched as Naheem was knocked to the ground and onto his back, soft flesh exposed to her view.
"It's about time. I thought I would just have to sit and watch the whole time."
Glancing at Basilisk quickly, she didn't bother replying but returned her gaze back to Naheem. "Who the hell is this?" Walking up close to him Karensha ran one claw down his cheek pressing in slightly , and then grabbed a pawful of his mane, wrenching his head to face her.
"This... you fool, is a friend who is about to watch you die, hopefully a slow painful death as you inflicted on others. You don't know how much I hate you for what you and father turned me into, how you murdered by brother and got away with it, how you killed just for the pleasure of it, well now it's your turn." Dropping his head back to the ground, Karensha bought her paw down on his mane holding it in place and pressed her claws to his throat, the one she had specifically 'sharpened' before. Bringing her paw back, she plunged in quickly splitting the skin, twisting as it went, she then in one swift movement, slashed from one side to the other, hitting his jugular vein as she went. Standing there she watched as red bubbles of his life blood sprayed up and over her, and then falling hit Naheems body , spreading and running down onto the ground, pooling around and under his body.
Stepping away she turned her back on the lion lying prone on the ground and spoke quietly " Hope you go to hell, where you belong."
Hanging her head she slowly carried on walking, and then paused "thank you for your help Basilisk, tis the first time anyone has given me any help without wanting something in return."

"Hope you go to hell, where you belong."
Basilisk could tell by the way Karnesha talked that she was quite angry. He knew that she didn't like him, but he didn't know she had this much hatred for him. Basilisk got off Naheems body and looked down at it. There was blood all over it from Karenshas final attack, and it had made a small pool of blood around his head. He couldn't help but smile as he continued to stare.
"I like the way you work." He said looking up at her.
"thank you for your help Basilisk, tis the first time anyone has given me any help without wanting something in return."
"No worries, I quite enjoyed it. This is the most exciting thing that's happened in a long time."
He continued staring at Karensha, and noticed that she was still bleeding.
"So, hows the wounds? Think you'll be okay to make it back? And what do you plan on doing with the body, just leave it there?"

Karensha slowly walked on, her thoughts jumbled all around, she knew she should have felt victorious over the slaying of Naheem, but she felt...she didn't really know how she felt, and that was puzzling her. She had played it out over and over in her mind about the killing of the white lion, but now..
"So, hows the wounds? Think you'll be okay to make it back? And what do you plan on doing with the body, just leave it there?"
Bringing her head around, she'd realised she had forgotten all about Basilisk who was trailing behind her, and her eyes lifted and carried on past to where Naheem's body lay under the hot days sun. Stopping herself, she bought her gaze back to Basilisk. "wounds... they'll heal up soon enough, they always do, and as for Naheem." trailing off Karensha stared at the lion in front of her, "I need to do some things, before I come back, maybe you should just carry on, collect the other one trying to hide at the top of the ridge and go back to the others, see they are all safe, I'll be along in a little while...ok ?"
Flicking her head so her lilac fur tuft covered her eyes, her paws lifted from the soil and she turned herself heading back to where he lay.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jabari turned quickly at the sound in Sera's voice at the same time his eyes locked onto Meri's and took in the cobra's stance wrapped around the small cub. Taking a few steps closer, keeping his calm Jabari paused when the snake finally spoke.
"I would advisse you to sstay where you are, Unless you wissh thiss ssmall one dead."
A small growl was about to pass through his lips, when he realised it might only antagonise the reptile even more, so Jabari clamped his lips shut and smiled. "Are we meant to know you by any chance ? I'm sure if you're that hungry we could find you a more...tasty meal?"
