Kyrlla shook her head with a faint grin when the lion decided he'd insist calling her "bug-cub". She then noticed how he glanced at the sky - and not for the first time either - before he suddenly teleported into a tree.

"So I saw that you can fly and create light from your wings, but do you have any other powers?"

"Oh, I might have some", she said with her head tilted up so that she could see the lion in the tree. She knew her wings wouldn't yet support her, they hadn't absorbed enough sunlight. But since the lion was in a tree, she could reach him by other means.

So, she padded at the tree, then just walked straight into it. Her whole body disappeared as she became part of the tree, and suddenly she was aware of a whole lot of her surroundings. The wind rustling the leaves, some small critter gnawing on the roots...

And the big lion laying on one of the branch.

As enjoyable as it would have been to stay in the tree, Kyrlla centred her will and morphed out of the tree right above the lion. From there she then dropped down in front of him on the branch he was resting on.

"So, since we're talking now.." she said casually, as if nothing had happened. "I don't think I caught your name. I'm Kyrlla."

Arjuna watched in amusement as the Catterfly had made herself go into the tree as if it just absorbed her. He kept looking at the spot she disappeared until she dropped down in front of him and surprised him. Letting out a small scream, he began to fall off the branch but caught himself so he was just hanging upside down.

"That's a pretty cool power bug-cub."

He swung his body back and forth until he was able to get back on top of it.

"I don't think I caught your name. I'm Kyrlla."

"My name? I have to remember it. hmm."

He had a look of deep concentration when thinking of his name.

"I think it's crazy, or that what people always seem to call me. Oh wait, I remember now, It's Arjuna."

Kyrlla looked at Arjuna with an amused glint in her eyes, and with a small smile tugging the corners of her lips upwards.
"Well, Arjuna.. Nice to meet you."
She glanced around the area for a moment before her gaze returned to the lion.
"How come did you come here of all places? Nothing ever happens here."

"Really now, is that why I just saw four other animals with powers get in a little battle."

Arjuna was getting a little anxious now that nothing was going on and was hoping something would happen soon. He knew if something doesn't happen he would die from boredom.

"The reason why I'm here, I guess I wanted to relax since I just got done with some great battle thing. I wonder how that went to."

Kyrlla shuddered, clearly not liking the idea of a battle. She wouldn't be much of a use in one anyway, so it shouldn't have been such a surprise.
"Well, I don't think you'll find much more excitement from here compared to a battle", she said.
"I thought it was just pure chance when I ran into those two cubs with abilities... And then that bird, also with abilities. And then you..."

The catterfly plopped down to lay on the branch on her belly with all her feet hanging on each side. She stared at the horizon with a thoughtful expression.
"It's odd..." she said quietly, apparently thinking aloud.
"I thought this area was supposed to be pretty much free of magic, and suddenly it's everywhere... I wonder why...?"
She chuckled and shook her head, then continued with a sigh.
"Maybe I slept too long, and the world has changed too much."

Arjuna was starting to get bored just laying on a tree branch with no excitement going on. He slowly slid off the branch that he was on and began to fall straight to the ground. right before hiitng the ground though, he teleported back to the branch that the was on.

"Woah, dozed off a bit."

He looked up to see that the Krylla was still laying on her branch and pondeing about things.

"So this area was supposed to be magic free aye, well I guess who ever told you that was a liar."

The catterfly looked up at Arjuna with an amused expression.
"Who said anyone told me anything like that?" she asked with a lifted eyebrow.
"I recall mentioning I'm older than I look. The last time I walked on these plains they were free of magic."
She frowned, then continued with a quiet voice.
"Obviously that has changed..."

Kyrlla shrugged then and rose on her feet, tentatively flapping her wings. They were sparkling again, and she was certain she could fly again if she wanted.
"Say, Arjuna", she said with a wide grin.
"I wouldn't mind wandering around a bit more... Would you come with me?"

Arjuna's head sprang up almost instantly when he heard that.

"I could come, it would be much better then just laying here being bored. Who knows, we might find feather-brain again."

He jumped down to the ground instead of teleporting like he would usually do. He seemed a bit anxious to go do something but was also glad they were done just laying around.

"Come one slowpoke, I could have made it around these plains five times by now."

Kyrlla chuckled, then gracefully pounced down from her branch. She fluttered her wings slightly, lowering herself from the tree with ease. Instead of landing though, she remained on her wings.

"So", she said with a small grin. "Where are we heading?"
