"Wow, you're a terrible hunter there feather brain. Couldn't even catch three defenseless cubs."
Iroetem lifted turned a cold stare at the intruder that had come to pester her at her own domain. A lion... a cheater none the less. He had no wings, and instead seemed to be teleporting as a ball of lightning all over the place.
She blinked her eyes lazily at him, then turned her attention back at the ground.
"You have some nerve to pester me here, earthling boy."
Kyrlla quickly followed Usawa and Tura to the cave and bolted inside. She flapped her wings and hovered just inside the cave entrance slightly behind the two cubs. Now that she was in shade one could clearly see how small sparkles fell from her wings before they disappeared a few seconds after.
"I think we lost it... Man! that was a big bird! Did you see the size of that thing? Whew.."
Kyrlla flapped stopped flapping her wings and fell to the ground. Because she was so light, she didn't even cause a thud when her paws hit the cave floor. She padded quietly over to the two cubs and stared outside at the cloudy sky.
"Dunno..." she said suspiciously. "The bird gave up too easily. I just hope it won't be staying outside and waiting until we have to leave this cave."

Tura stood beside Usawa as she looked up at the sky, she glanced behind her to see if Krylla was okay and saw a glint of something, Tura blinked and it was gone. She glanced at Krylla as she walked over to her and Usawa.
"Lightning? But those clouds aren't even dark."
Tura nodded in agreement. "It is pretty though."
"Oh well. I think we lost it... Man! that was a big bird! Did you see the size of that thing? Whew.."
Tura nodded again then looked back at Krylla as she spoke.
"The bird gave up too easily. I just hope it won't be staying outside and waiting until we have to leave this cave."
"I can check that out." Tura offered. As she said those words she could feel herself becoming transparent. When the tip of her tail become completely invisible she padded out into the open slowly.

"I'm happy to see that you know what planet we're from. Would have thought that there was somethin wrong with you seeing you can't even catch a cub."
Arjuna kept teleporting by the bird, constantly changing his body position in any awkward way.
"Ooo, maybe I can call you earthling girl. We could even start our own little club called the Earthling Club." He said as if he were an excited five year old child. "We could make a fort with a no girls allowed sign on it, wait, that might be a problem for you."
Arjuna kept doing what he was best it seemed, and that was annoying everyone around him. It was a special little trait he picked up after getting his arm which also became one of his best weapons in a fight.
"Maybe we should start by making a secret handshake, but that would be difficult with wings and paws. You got any ideas for the earthling club, earthling girl?"

"Well, maybe it just saw the storm coming and flew away."
"I can check that out."
Tura said as she stepped out of the cave and began to turn invisible.
"Be careful." Maji advised.
The cub turned to see Kyrla standing right there. It was odd to him seeing her there but only sensing something as light as a pile of leaves.
"What now?" he asked.

Iroetem mentally rolled her eyes at the lion. Seriously... How old was this guy? He acted like a young parrot that had just learned a new trick.
The great bird lazily flapped her wings and ignored what the lion said. He wasn't worth her time, especially so since he was clearly cheating. He didn't even have the ability of flight, he had to teleport in order to stay around her.
"Maybe we should start by making a secret handshake, but that would be difficult with wings and paws. You got any ideas for the earthling club, earthling girl?"
Finally she snorted and turned her icy stare at the lion.
"I do, lion."
She said the last word with a tone that made it sound like an insult.
"All those that have to teleport to keep up with me should die and go to hell."
She then mockingly acted shocked.
"Oh but that would make it very difficult for you, would it not, lion?"
She turned her cold stare back at the ground, then realized she could see at least two of the cubs in a cave below them, mostly because the one with the butterfly wings seemed to be emitting some sort of a glow from its wings.
Then she had an idea, and turned her cold stare back at the teleporting lion. This time though she had a mockingly innocent look on her face.
"Perhaps you would demonstrate to me how exactly a cub is caught, hm? If you manage that I might consider creating that 'club' with you."
<< And letting you live, you moron >>, she added in her mind.

"I thought you were never going to ask." Arjuna said, this time more sinister than childlike.
He looked down and teleported straight to the ground. Luckily he ended up right in front of the cave where two of the cubs were at. The first thing that he noticed in the cave was the glowing from the cub with wings, then he saw the male but couldn't see the female cub. She was probably invisible, but he didn't care since the cub probably couldn't do alot to him.
"Hello kids, I need to capture you so come on out." He suddenly teleported inside the cave on the other side of the cubs now. "Or I could just come right in and hunt you in here."

Before Kyrla replied to Usawas question, one of the bolts of lightning struck right in front of the cave. Usawa gasped and fell back in surprise. But what was even more surprising was that there was now a lion standing in front of them.
"Hello kids, I need to capture you so come on out."
Was he joking? Usawa stood up and noticed that one of the lions arms was made of electricity. But before he could notice anything else, he disappeared again but reappeared behind them.
"Or I could just come right in and hunt you in here."
"Are you serious?" Usawa said with an incredulous look on his face. "Why don't you just go get a gazelle or something?"

Kyrlla shrieked in surprise when the lion suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of them, then frowned deeply when he said he needed to capture them. She turned around slowly when the lion teleported behind them and stared at him with that frown still on her face.
"Why don't you just go get a gazelle or something?"
Indeed why not? And why did it seem that everyone wanted to capture them today? First the bird and now this guy! The catterfly fluttered her wings faintly but said nothing as she waited for the lion's reply to what Usawa had said.

Arjuna let out a laugh when the cub asked him that. "It's a simple reason really, I don't see too many gazelles running around with super powers."
He then grabbed the male cub with impressive speed and tossed him out of the cave. Before the cub could touch the ground, Arjuna teleported behind him and caught the cub by the back of his neck.
"Now that you mention it, I don't think I've seen a gazelle with super powers. Someone should probably make one someday" Arjuna was just sitting there now pondering of what powers a gazelle would have before snapping back into what was happening. "Whoops sorry, I forgot you two were still here. It might be your turn to do something I think, so go on and try something."

Kyrlla stared at this odd lion with her eyes wide in surprise. He had swept Usawa out of the cave, and was now talking about how someone should make a gazelle with superpowers?
Insane... This lion had to be insane...
"Whoops sorry, I forgot you two were still here. It might be your turn to do something I think, so go on and try something."
Kyrlla rolled her eyes and slowly walked out of the cave. The sunlight seemed to make her wings glow brighter than when she had been in shade.
"Or how about", she began calmly as she walked to stand beside Usawa, "you leave us alone and go pick on someone of your own size?"

Tura prowled behind the new arrival still invisible, swiftly she pounced on him and caught him off guard. "Usawa go move!!" Tura screamed. She made herself visible to the new arrival and glared at him head on. "You will not take my friends. Take me." She offered a plan forming in her mind.

Arjuna felt a small weight jump onto him before quickly getting off. He knew it was the third cub since he was waiting for her to show herself. The cub that was in his paw was let go so things could get a bit more interesting, but it seemed like the two cubs disappeared again and ran off this time.
"Well, that was kinda unexpected," He said to the only other cub there, "What are we supposed to do now? Makes you wish others were here."

Kyrlla stared up at the lion with a blank face, then slowly a mischievous smile began to tug its way on her muzzle. The lion was still blocking her way out, but that didn't seem to bother her too much now that the two cubs were gone.
"Not really", she answered.
"Cos now I can do this!"
Kyrlla suddenly crouched, and in an instant she did so a blinding bright light erupted from her wings, lighting up the cave and making it impossible to see anything. With her wings still emitting the light, the catterfly dashed for the exit, hoping to get out into the opening without the lion managing to capture her.

Arjuna let out a small laugh when the cub looking thing caught him by suprise with the flash of light. He closed is eyes as fast as he could but was still blinded from the flash. By instinct, his shield instantly surrounded him since he couldn't teleport anywhere.
It didn't take too long for his eye sight to return, but when it did, he saw that the cub with wings got quite a bit of distance between them. He let his shield down since he didn't need it now.
"Darn, I wish I had some power to cut the distance between us. Oh wait."
After saying his sarcastic line, Arjuna was instantly behind Krylla holding the back of her neck so she couldn't get away.
"No matter how fast you go, I can catch up to you no problem."
He then let her go knowing he could just catch her again if she tried to escape again.
"So since we are by ourselves for now, how bout we hang out? Feather-brain kinda annoyed me when I was talking to her."

Kyrlla grinned victoriously when she managed to flee from the lion, but her joy died soon enough when she felt someone yank her to a halt by the back of her neck. She shrieked, and could only stare up at the lion with slightly widened eyes.
"No matter how fast you go, I can catch up to you no problem."
"So since we are by ourselves for now, how bout we hang out? Feather-brain kinda annoyed me when I was talking to her."
The catterfly didn't reply at first when the lion lowered her on the ground, she could only stare. But then the words registered and she frowned.
"Huh? Feather-brain?"
She frowned some more and faintly flapped her wings. They had stopped glowing now, but she knew they would gain their glow soon enough after she'd been in the sun for a while.
"You mean the big white bird? You actually spoke with her?"

"Yep I did. She wanted me to catch you cubs since she was apparently to slow."
Arjuna kept his constant smile on his face when speaking to the cub.
"But since you kids seem a bit more fun, I think I'll let you live."
Teleporting to the top of a tree, Arjuna was looking up in the sky trying to find where the bird was at. It seemed that the bird disappeared from his sight which made him wonder where she would have gone.
"Feather-brain might not be too happy to know that she won't be getting a meal, but whatever."
teleporting back down in front of the cub with wings, his head was tilted while inspecting whatever was in front of him.
"Now I'm curious, how did a bug and a lion get together and come up with you? I think I'll call you... bug-cub"

Kyrlla cringed. This wasn't the first time this lion had called her a cub, but this was just enough.
"Gee, 'thanks'...", she said sarcastically. "Now I must wonder too, how the heck did a lightning and a lion 'get together', as you put it, and come up with you?"

"Wow, it seems you already know everthing about me bug-cub."
Arjuna said with a suprised look on his face before switching his expression to one of remembering good times.
"My mother was the most beautiful lightning bolt in the sky and my father was awestruck when he first saw her. A few months later and here I am. I don't know how the pregnancy went, but I'm sure it happened in a 'flash'"
Upon saying that, he bursted out laughing and sarted rolling around on his back. He got back up to continue his little conversation.
"So what are you really then if you aren't part bug and lion, Bug-cub?"

That was all she could take before she too burst into laughter. It seemed that this lion wasn't half bad after all, if you got to know him.
"So what are you really then if you aren't part bug and lion, Bug-cub?"
She cringed slightly, then shrugged.
"Meh, I'm not a lion really. My species is called 'catterfly'. No idea who came up with that ridiculous name."
She paused.
"Aaaaaand..." she continued slightly hesitantly. "I'm not really a cub. I probably look like one to you, but I'm actually fully grown."
She shrugged again.
"Can't grow larger than this, and trust me, I've tried. Seems I'm stuck being a 'cub' all my life."

Arjuna teleported back up a tree to, once again, see if he could find the bird. Still not being able to see it, he just laid down on the branch and let out a sigh.
"So I saw that you can fly and create light from your wings, but do you have any other powers?"
