The female cub was too afraid for Kyrlla's liking. It made the catterfly feel very uncomfortable, especially so since she wasn't certain if this cub had some abilities or not.
"-- my name is Tura. What are yours?"
"I'm Kyrlla", the catterfly introduced herself after Usawa, then lifted an eyebrow when the cub suddenly began to turn transparent, and then invisible. It wasn't the fact that the cub was doing so, it was the cub's own reaction to it that made her slightly confused.
When the cub apologised, Kyrlla blinked in surprise.
"Why are you feeling sorry?" she asked.
"I mean... I know most don't like those with abilities, but... What do you think they see me as? I have wings."

The creature said after Tura's mishap and after introducing herself.
"I guess, I'm sorry. I like it though." Tura murmured softly. She frowned and hesitantly turned to Usawa. "Do you have any powers if you don't mind me asking?" Tura asked politely.

Usawa watched as Tura grew more and more transparent. He was a bit surprised as she did so. She obviously had the power of invisibility. The lion cub smiled slightly in admiration of such an ability. But then she apologized.
"No. It's ok. I thought it was really cool actually." the cub said, trying to make Tura feel better.
"Do you have any powers if you don't mind me asking?"
The cub paused to think about telling her instinctively but knew he could tell her his powers because she herself had some.
"Well, I don't have wings or anything but I guess its a little obvious anyway since I have these." Usawa said as he flicked his earring and waved the feather hanging from his tail. "I can make things lighter.." The cub said as he focused on a few small stones around him to make them float as a demonstration. His eyes changing slightly to green. ".. Or I can make them heavier." This time, as he focused, his eyes turned to a slight shade of red while the stones instantly dropped to the ground and began sinking into the ground as if they had the weight of an elephant.
Usawa released his focus on the rocks and his eyes changed back to their normal brown color. "Oh yeah. I can also sense the weight and hardness of things. Well, as long as their somewhat close to me."

Tura watched the rock in amazement "Cool." She said, her voice not hiding that she was impressed by him. I can do a couple more things. "Watch." Tura, lowered her head low and instantly darted off, kicking dust up as she did. As she ran to the distant water Tura closed her eyes and began to glow, all at once ten or so lioness cubs, identical to Tura burst forth of her. The Tura's darted back towards Usawa and Kyrlla and in a blink of an eye were in the positionn the original Tura belonged.
She grinned angellically at the two before the Tura's danced back into her heart. "Duplicating is my favourite." She said proudly.

Kyrlla watched with a faint smile when the cubs showed each other their abilities. It was so cute, and nice, to see them get along quite well. Now the only problem was, why were the cubs alone? The catterfly really wanted to know where their parents were, but she didn't know how to ask it. If they were dead... or worse, if they had abandoned their cubs because they were special... It might make the cubs upset.
She was soaring high on the sky, looking down at the ground and searching. She was using the clouds to her advantage. Her white colouring blend in so well with the clouds that it was almost impossible to see her. Not only that, but the brightly shining sun was making it even more difficult to look up and point her out.
It was a perfect day to hunt, and Iroetem was enjoying every bit of it.
Sharp movement from below caught her attention, and she turned her ice blue eyes there. She was surprised at what she saw. Three... cubs? Perfect, they were just the right size for her.
She turned in mid air, her beak pointing towards the ground. She flapped her wings a few times to gain extra speed, then folded them tightly to her sides. She wanted to see if any of these cubs would realize what struck them before she would carry one of them away as her lunch.

Tura looked at Kyrlla, she could tell the cub was deep in thought. "What are you thinking about?" Tura asked curiously. As she settled herself down she heard a batting of wings above her head. Tura snapped her head up as a large creature pelted down towards her. "Move!" She screamed.

As Tura reached higher speeds, Usawa could see that there was no longer only one of her, but two. Now Three. And now four. She had made more of herself. When all of them finally converged into the same one again, she stopped in front of him.
"Duplicating is my favourite."
Usawa laughed in amusement. "That was awesome! You've got your own pride. Now all you need is a male or two." Usawa chuckled a bit more.
Suddenly, Tura looked up into the sky. Her eyes grew wide instantly as she shouted. "Move!"
Usawa looked to see what she saw and barely got a glimpse of a huge bird of prey coming toward them. He didn't have time to focus and use his abilities but he was able to sense its density just as easily as he could see it. He had only the time to jump out of the way.

"Move!"
Kyrlla dashed the moment she realized something much larger than her was coming down at them. She panicking when she realized that the only plants around were... grass...
She glanced up at the bird, it was coming right at her and apparently ignoring the two other cubs for now. Turning her attention back at what was in front of her, she saw a large bush grow out in the middle of the grass. Giving the bird another glance, the catterfly pushed herself harder and gave herself some more speed with her wings... She only needed to touch one leaf of that bush...
Iroetem cursed. The cubs had noticed her. Thankfully, she still had the head start her surprise attack had given her, and her speed was growing at each passing moment. She saw how the cubs dashed for cover, scattering to different directions. She would only need to pick the slowest of them...
Did one of them have... wings? Iroetem could hardly believe her eyes. In any other case she would possibly have let the winged creature go, but life was hard and only those who were strong would survive. She kept diving down, and saw how the creature with wings dashed into the tall grass to hide. The bird smirked, the bright butterfly wings were so large and shiny that she could easily tell where the thing was running. Only a little bit more... The vulture opened her large wings and flapped them to slow down her speed. She spread her talons towards the winged cat...
The critter disappeared, and Iroetem's feet hit the ground. Surprised, the vulture stared at the bush in front of her, spread her mighty wings and screeched in fury. The critter was clever, it had somehow managed to make itself disappear right in front of her nose!

Tura raced after Usawa quickly, her breath coming in quick and sharp pants. Swiftly she became invisible, she wrapped her tail around Usawa's "Usawa tighten the grip, I want to see if we can become invisible together."

He noticed something touching his tail as he ran, looking for a place to hide. It was Tura. She was wrapping her tail around his.
"Usawa tighten the grip, I want to see if we can become invisible together."
"Is now really the best time to be trying things?" Usawa yelled but it seemed there wasnt much else he could do. The male cub did as Tura said.

"Yes no is." Tura screamed, "If this works it could save your life." She kept running careful to keep her tail connected to his. "Do you feel any different?" She cried, keeping her pace equal to his.

Iroetem folded her mighty wings and stared at the bush with a tilted head. The winged creature had been right there on plain sight, and then she had just suddenly disappeared. It couldn't be invisibility, Iroetem's talons would have caught the creature. So... what was it then?
The white bird lowered her head slightly and peeked under the bush. The creature wasn't hiding under the bush either, so that left her with only a few options. The critter might have teleported off, but that seemed unlikely due to the fact it had tried to run.
She narrowed her eyes. The critter indeed had run, and it had headed straight towards this bush. Could it be that...?
Iroetem's eyes caught a strange glow, and after a moment she opened her beak. A light blue and white orb of light formed in her mouth, and then suddenly it transformed into a bolt of light that shot towards the bush. When the light touched the plant, its leaves froze immediately.
Kyrlla had thought her hide was perfect and that the bird would give up and go away. But no... Instead, it attacked the bush, and forced the catterfly to come out from her hiding before it would be too late for her. She appeared from the leaves on the other side of the bush from the vulture, and instantly rose on her wings and took to the skies. When she glanced back, she noticed the vulture spreading its wings. It seemed that she needed a better plan to flee from the hunter.

"Do you feel any different?"
Usawa tried to pretend he was invisible. He didn't know how it all worked even if it worked at all. He looked down at his paws. They were becoming slightly translucent but he couldn't seem to make himself completely invisible.
Then, a sound broke his concentration. He looked over at the place they were only a minute ago and saw the vulture had landed and was looking at a bush. The bush was frozen and Kyrla came out from behind it. The vulture began spreading its wings as if about to attack again. Usawa had to do this fast.
"We have to do something!" the cub shouted at Tura.
He ran over to the general area again until he was only a couple meters away from the bird.
Sliding to a stop, Usawa clenched the ground with his paws, claws extended. His eyes began to turn a bright red until they almost glowed. He focused on the birds feet. He would make them so heavy, even a gorilla would have trouble lifting them. At the same time, several stones began floating in the air and plants waved about as if being pulled out of the ground.

Iroetem was about to take flight when suddenly she realized a strange heaviness in her feet. She screeched in surprise, and turned to look at her feet, but didn't see any reason why they would suddenly be so heavy. With faintly glowing eyes the great bird flicked her head around in an attempt to see who was causing this, and she spotted one of the cubs. The lion's eyes were bright red, and he had small stones floating around him.
The vulture tilted her head, and released a very eagle-like laugh. The cub was a fool if he though that she'd be disabled if her feet were too heavy to lift. She opened her golden beak and a glowing orb of white and blue light began to form in her mouth once again as she prepared to shoot an ice bolt at the cub.
Kyrlla looked over her shoulder when she heard bird's laugh. She was glad when she realized Usawa had stopped the bird from chasing after her. Her joy soon faded though when she realized the bird was charging another ice bolt, this time towards the lion cub.
The catterfly reacted quickly and turned in mid air, diving straight towards the massive bird. She was so far away though, there was no way she'd be there in time to stop the bird's attack.
"LOOK OUT!" she shouted at Usawa, hoping he would get out of the way before the bird could attack him.

Everything came by in a flash, suddenly the large bird was charging something in it's mouth. Suddenly the realization dawned on her, Usawa was trapped unless... The adrenalin pounded through her as Tura raced to Usawa, her speed beating the bird's greatly. Hastily she slammed into Usawa, making the two fall out of harms way.

With a laugh, the large bird began to form a glowing orb in its mouth. Usawa was petrified and didn't know what to do as he realized what was happening. His heart sunk in his chest and his ears flattened as his face turned to surprise and fear. Losing his focus, his eyes turned to brown again.
Suddenly, he was hit by something. At first he thought the bird had shot him. With a loud yell, he cried out. After tumbling to the ground a while, Usawa turned his head over and opened his eyes to see Tura there. She must have bumped him out of the way. Usawa got up and shook the dust off of him.
"Alright! Playtime is OVER!" Usawa shouted, enraged. Without saying a word, he ran back over to where he was before, his eyes now turning a bright green. He focused on the bird once more, making her lighter. She became as light as possible. So light that gravity couldn't hold her down. At the same time, small stones around Usawa began to sink into the earth, plants wilted and trees began to bend and snap, their branches falling to the ground one by one. Once he was satisfied that the bird was high enough in the air and probably confused, Usawa released his focus on her and ran.
Usawa looked back at the other cub and the catterfly. "Come on. We've got to find somewhere to hide."

Kyrlla was thankful that she didn't need to do something very stupid to save Usawa from the bird. Tura had already done that for her, and the bird's attack missed. Kyrlla swiftly flew after the two cubs, following them as fast as her wings could carry her.
"Come on. We've got to find somewhere to hide."
"There's not many places we can hide in from a bird!" Kyrlla shouted back while scanning the area from above the two cubs.
"I'd say caves or dense forest, but I can't see anything like that! Does either of you know anything we could use?"
"Alright! Playtime is OVER!"
Iroetem was completely taken by surprise when she suddenly couldn't feel her own body weight and began to rise higher on air. She realized her attack has missed, but this sudden change of direction was too much for her to let her attack again. Clearly her prey was more clever than she had first thought!
She rose fast, following with her gaze how the cubs began to run away from her. The winged creature was flying above them, possibly looking for shelter. Iroetem smirked as she spread her wings, waiting for her weight to return.
When it did, she was ready. She flapped her mighty wings and gained speed, but instead of directly heading towards the cubs like she had done before, she flew higher into some low clouds, using her white feathers as a camouflage from prying eyes. If the cubs didn't have the sight of an eagle, they wouldn't be able to see her from the clouds. She'd follow them for now, see what they would do when they would realize she had disappeared, and strike again when they'd least expect it.

Tura raced through trees and bushes and ran straight into her cave, looking out to see if Krylla and Usawa had followed her. She had made sure she kept her speed as normal as them so they wouldn't lose her. Tura glanced around for any sign of them as she stood in the mouth of the cave panting.

Arjuna watched from the side lines as the small battle between the cubs and bird was happening. He watched closely, examining their powers and not wanting to interfere yet. It seemed like the bird could shoot beams, the male cub controled gravity, the female cub was fast and can turn invisible, and the winged cub looking thing was just a winged cub thing so far.
Seeing the cubs wouldn't be as fun to mess with, Arjuna focused mainly on the bird. He watched closely as the bird flew away into the sky and had a hard time following it. This was a perfect time to strike, when she least expected it. Teleporting up all the way to where the bird was, he continuosly teleported by it so he wouldn't fall too far.
"Wow, you're a terrible hunter there feather brain. Couldn't even catch three defenseless cubs." He said before laughing and falling straight down.

As the cubs and catterfly raced toward the cave opening, there was a flash of light in the corner of Usawas vision. And then another. Lots of flashes of blue light were going off in the sky.
Usawa approached the cave at a slower pace and as he moved into it, he turned around.
"Lightning? But those clouds aren't even dark."
With a sigh, Usawa spoke again. "Oh well. I think we lost it... Man! that was a big bird! Did you see the size of that thing? Whew.."
