Pizerra stood still watching Memkria, and was so tempted to shake her off when her mouth went on his leg as well, but stayed still.
Grinning he watched as the human boy tried to 'train' the lioness.
"well this just gets even better, I think I'll see what happens when the new cub joins us all".

Memkrias did't really get the boy's noises, but she shook her head and sighed, she did't get Pizeeras taste better either, was it guys? where they just weird she wondered to herself.
She looked across to the water side as the newbie was brought ashore by Ayesha

Ayesha and Usawa had only taken a couple steps away from the water when Usawa looked up and finally saw the human. The cubs eyes were wide as he gasped. Without a second thought, he booked it toward the human as fast as he could, his slightly damp feet flinging water.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He cried over and over again until he got to the two legs that were attached to the human. The cub slowed down and walked around the humans legs, nuzzling them as his "Thank you"s were joined by purring.

Isha was watching Memkrias suspiciously, and so she didn't realize at first that the human had moved. She blinked when she heard him speak, turning her gaze at him with a confused look in her eyes. She had no idea what the human was saying, but from the sound of his voice it almost sounded like he was... scolding Memkrias?
She had no time to ponder much on this when the boy then gently took a hold of her leg and ran his fingers through her fur. She was too puzzled by his strange behaviour to pull away from him, and after a moment she was almost sure that he had checked her leg for injuries. She smiled faintly at this when the human pulled away and stretched. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
Isha jumped in surprise at the new voice, only to see a creature about her size zoom past her and towards the human. The creature turned out to be the lion cub that Ayesha had went to get from the other side of the river, but why he was thanking the human was well beyond her.

Out of sight in the branches of a nearby tree, a figure sat watching the group. hidden in the foliage and shadow it could't be seen from the ground but it could apparently see them quite well.

Pizeera sat still watching as the furball went past them all to the boy. His face screwed up a little as to why that happened. Had those two met before ?.
Looking around at the others, it seemed that they might be all thinking the same thing.
"Memkria, something you find strange about this ?"

Memrias looked at the scene Pizeera was on about, it did seem odd though she could't quite put her paw on it.. then she suddenly had a idea and looking Pizeera replied
"Hey maybe the human is the cub's pet? You think?"

Thomas felt his body relaxing once the liard was safely back and out of the river once more, and watched and she shook herself hard and fast water droplets spreading everywhere.
About to move over to her, Thomas halted in his tracks as the wet cub threw itself at him, nuzzling and purring around his legs. Total surprise moved across his face and he bought his gaze back up looking at the others who were staring at him, each had different looks on their faces, he didn't really know what to do so just bought up his arms and raised his hands outwards, as if to say 'I don't know'.

Ayesha breathed a sigh of relief as the cub jumped down off her neck releasing her strands of fur he had held so tight, she wished there and then someone would move over to her and massage her neck softly and get the kinks out.
Twisting her body she shook herself rigorously from her nose to tail ridding herself of any water clinging to her body and turned to face the others. Her eyes widened as she saw the cub she had rescued, just about wrapping itself around the boys legs, her boy at that.
Moving slowly she passed the lion and lioness and came to stand beside the fox her ears twitching as the cub kept thanking the boy over and over.
"Hey cub ... isn't it me you should be thanking, I was the one afterall who came across that raging river, risking my life for you, I could have been killed, but...but it was me that saved you."

Usawa assumed the human knew why he was thanking him though he didn't seem to be reacting to the cubs overwhelming gratitude. Suddenly, he heard the voice of the liard who carried him across the river.
"Hey cub ... isn't it me you should be thanking, I was the one afterall who came across that raging river, risking my life for you, I could have been killed, but...but it was me that saved you."
The cub felt a little embarrassed.
"Oh right. Yeah. Thanks for carrying me across the river but I was thanking the human for something else. It's kind of a long story but when I was very little, my mother was very sick." he began with his story explaining his gratitude toward the human. "She would just lie there without moving. My daddy and I were really worried about her but one day, some humans came and took her away. We didn't know if she would ever come back but a few days later, they brought her back! She was asleep but when she woke up, she was ok!" He said with a big smile. "I never got a chance to say thank you until now!" The cub hugged the boys leg as he smiled at the rest of them.

Ayesha stood there quietly listening to what the cub had to say, not sure really if she believed him. It was known that human adults killed animals, not save them.
"well...where are your parents now, what are you doing all out here alone?"

Isha stared at the cub with a lifted eyebrow. She wondered if he realized that it was very unlikely that the human boy whose leg he was clinging on knew the humans that had - supposedly - helped the cub's mother. But then again, the fennec wasn't all that familiar with humans in the first place. She had only heard rumours. For all she knew, all humans might know each other and...
The fox shook her head, cutting that line of thought as thinking about it was making her way too confused, which in turn would only give her a head ache.

Thomas shifted awkardly from one foot to the other while the small cub clung to him. Looking around at the others, no one was doing anything to help him, in fact they all looked as puzzled as he did.
Bending over at the waist, Thomas pressed and then slid his fingers down between the skin of his leg and the cubs fur, finally peeling him away and then he quickly jumped back, standing behind the fox almost using her as protection.

Memkrias looked on at the situation feeling somewhat amused by it, why was the human that was so much bigger than the cub and the fox, using the fox as a shield? She looked across to Pizeera wondering what he thought of the situation too.

He stood there watching what was happening, with a smirk on his face. This situation was getting stranger and stranger.
"Ayesha, are you finding weird things that everyone else would eat for dinner after enjoying playing with them, or do you have some plan to do with these rejects you are collecting ? "
Pizeera looked over at the boy was still using the fox as some sort of protection.
"hey fox ! you got yourself a very very friendly partner there."
Pizerra sat there and started laughing out loud.

Usawa was met with the liards reply.

"I dunno. I just know that if they're alive then I'll probably find them sooner or later. Or rather, they'll find me i guess."
Was his reply with not even a bit of sadness.
The human seemed to be hiding behind the fox from Usawa. He smiled and said.
"I think you're a little too big to hid behind her. I would know. I'm an expert at hiding."

Turning the liard smiled at the others all standing around
"we're going here, there and everywhere, on a grand adventure, you never know we might indeed come across your family, but.. for now I'd like to get amove on."
Ayesha turned and looked at Memkria, Pizeera and Isha
" So... whose going to choose which direction we go in ?? "

"Ooo a direction she wants, but does a direction want her?

Pizeera was about to reply to the female liard, when the sound from above made him stop and swing his head up in the direction it came from.
"seems we have company everyone ! Does it belong to anyone here, or is it another uninvited guest?"

Thomas was still standing behind the fox, his eyes moving around them all wondering if anyone else was going to 'pop out' of no-where.
At the same time he warily laid his eyes on the lion, another animal it seemed that was hiding in the trees above them started jabbering away, making him jump.
Intrigued by what it actually was, Thomas sidled away from the rest and moved in behind the trees. Spitting on his hands he leant forward as if hugging the tree and then bought up one foot pressing against the bark and then the other, and started his upward journey.
Slowly he moved higher until he approached the first branch,and swung himself away until his hands captured the limb and then taking a breath, pulled himself up, until he was amongst the leafy foliage.
Edging foward, his nose sniffed at the air knowing that whatever it was, was straight ahead of him.
Grinning slightly, his hands came up and quietly pulled aside the leaves, like opening a curtain,.. his eyes widened with surprise, of all things he hadn't seen in so long..it was a monkey, and it was leaning forward as if it was going to jump down on top of his friends.Automatically he opened his mouth and spoke realising at the same time that he wouldn't be understood anyway.
"what...are.. you..doing ?"

Joju had seen the human creature's hilarious impersonation of climbing from where he was so he was not at all surprised by time it eventually reached him and spoke. But he jumped up acting like it was a shock and going
"Oh my monkeys! Its a hairless baboon, someone's let a hairless baboon wander around, woh wah its gonna eat me alive, let's toss myself to those cute little kitty cats to be mawed over instead!"
With comic like movement, he jumped out of the tree and just happened to land flat on Pizeera
"Woowee that was lucky! Someone left a rug underneath my fall!"
And he proceeded to laugh out at his own comment.
