Um yeah...
I'll just post this one video here for now, and add more stuff later on when I get on the mood. Was playing piano yesterday and today, and thought to record some.
Bear in mind, I can't read notes, so I have to learn to play everything from memory. Ain't working so well all the time, I didn't count how many times I had to start the recording from the beginning just because I messed up some notes. xDD
Also, my double-hand-playing-skills suck, and I actually drove my dad insane earlier today when I was trying to learn to play Walking in the Air with both of my hands. <.< Still can't do it, but I'm getting better. *nod*
But yus, here's the one I recorded today. I'll get a better version up at some point, with possibly singing. For now I can't sing it in English due to me not remembering the words (and I mess up the playing bad enough with Finnish lyrics at the moment anyway LOL).
Also, a while ago me n Blaq discussed that I had sang Sleeping Sun once in a funeral. If my memory serves me right, he was also curious to hear that, SO....
Aaaaand, because I felt like singing...
All for now.. <.< I don't really consider myself to be that good at singing, not at all. <.< But, since there was discussion about it.. .*shrug* Now you know. xDD
I'll post some more piano playing later. Got to at least record This Land, Over the Rainbow and Walking in the Air (and re-record We Are One), those are the ones I can play with two hands at the moment. xD

I've been wondering what your singing voice sounds like ever since we had that conversation. I think it's pretty good. You remind me of Meri and Anna from the band "Eluveitie" Piano playing is also good, I want to hear you play over the rainbow. I would make myself finish learning that song on guitar so I could play with it I got too frusterated trying to learn Chris Impellitteri's version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytvzMr1N1m8

Awww, thanks guys. ^^ I want to hear you play over the rainbow. lol consider it done then. I'll make sure to record that one asap. xD The other two are a bit too difficult for me at the moment anyway, so I can't record them yet. :'D Anyway, I gotta head to lessons. xDD

^ what does you mean with partnership, Dakota? Was listening some Nightwish today in bus while coming to school. There's a few songs from them I suddenly wanted to learn to play (including Deep Silent Complete and Bless the Child ). There's also Sleeping Sun and Sleepwalker that I should learn to play so I could sing along while I play. xD I'm soooo excited about playing and singing suddenly lol. Wonder why. XD And I still need to dig out dad's old quitar and try playing that... There's a few songs I'd wanna play on quitar too... xD

I think I sing too loudly at times in We Are One, but I've been recording and re-recording it so many times because I messed up at some part that I don wanna re-record it again. :'D

Thanks, Blaq. ;D
Yeh, I did finally get it done. xD I've known how to play it for years really, saw the notes once in some old music book and learned it back then (though I added 2nd hand in much, much later).

Well done Kirsi.
Seems 'Over the Rainbow' is a favourite with a lot of musicians/singers.

Thanks, Dakota. ^^
As for Over the Rainbow... I can't really say why that'd be. It's not all too difficult to play to be honest once you get it right. o.o

so you're walking in the air eh kirsui, well that should make travel cheaper

^ Ooo I wish. xD Living in the middle of nowhere really doesn't help with travelling costs. Heck, it's more expensive to fly from here to Helsinki and back than to fly from Helsinki to England. really, it's ridiculous, but I suppose that's what we get when Finnair is the only one flying here. D:

Your piano songs sound good Sui.. 'Over the Rainbow' is the song I sang to win my highschool music scholarship. Just need to move your microphone you're recording with away from piano a little bit.
How come you can get work experience in uk for your school ? Will you be living and going into Razzy's work too ?

Yeh well I couldn't really move it away all too much since I had to use phone to record. :/ It's a bit tricky, plus eats quality away. xD Ah well. *shrug* As to work experience... Dunno how really, school just has an option to go doing work experiece outside Finland if we manage to find a place. I get virtually free flights too, they said they'd pay up to 500€ of travel costs, when I bought tickets it was a bit over 500, and since I won't really have any other costs that much I'll try to ask if they could cover the whole thing. xD I'll be staying with Raz, and yes the work exp. is in his work. Kinda nervous really, I'm afraid of some scottish guy coming in and speaking so that I don't understand a thing. :'D
