Hm, no new songs from me at the moment... However, I just thought to pop in and say I'm learning a new one.  Not sure if you've heard of Castlevania, an old Nintendo game. It has some epic music in it, and I thought I'd learn Vampire Killer (the music from Castlevania's 1st level). So far I think I've got my right hand notes done. I'll need to learn to play the right hand properly without messing up too much before adding in left hand, so it might take a while to get the song done. XD |

Huh, it's been like what... two years since I posted anything in this thread? Wow... Lets fix that!  So that would be the Age of Oppression / Aggression from Skyrim. It could be better, I think, but I'm just not that good with music so I'll leave it like this. xD I also kind of realized that about all the major songs in that game can be played with the same notes... I can play a few of them already, but I haven't gotten around to actually record anything yet (aside from this one, that is). Maybe sometime. xD |

Well the recording quality has definitely gone up! It could be better, I think, but I'm just not that good with music so I'll leave it like this. xD I could add some orchestral strings and some choir to it if you want |

This time I'm recording it straight from the keyboard to the PC through the line-in port, instead of attempting to record with a bad camera mic from a real piano. xD I could add some orchestral strings and some choir to it if you want Ill add the wubs. TLK music from me? What is this? Anyhow, I've known how to play this song for aaaages, ever since I was a big fan of the Lion King my cousin had on her Sega. It's not exactly the movie version, nor the version on the game. Then again, what can you expect when I learn to play most of the songs by ear. |

You have no idea how many times I've tried recording this on the past 3 days or so... xD I just keep starting over and over, then I get frustrated and play something else, then start it again only to repeat the process. xD

So...! I mentioned that Baldur's Gate's theme was bugging me until I learned to play it, right? Turns out it only took me one day to learn (strangely enough). I've been trying to record a nice version with more instruments and stuff on it, buuuut I'm sort of uninspired to continue it at the moment lol. So, in the meantime, enjoy the piano version. |
