Meri has white fur with cream white belly, inside ears and ring markings just above her paws in all legs. She has long, dark blue hair that ofter covers the right side of her face. Her left eye is very light blue, almost white. Right eye is blind, and has only barely visible remains of her iris and pupil. She has a long scar going down from her right eye to her mouth. During the time she recieved this scar, her now blind eye stopped working properly and isn't able to produce tears.
Behaviour:
Meri is very shy and quiet. She is afraid of other lions and rarely speaks willingly around them. Because of this, others often think she isn't able to speak at all. Meri can hear very well and is swift to move around, especially in jungles and forest areas. She always seems to be reluctant to stay in one place for a longer period of time, though what she seems to want most is a calm place where she could stay without having to move along.
History:
Meri was born in a pride called 'Jungle Pride'. She grew up inside the jungle and had a lot of good friends. She was to be mated to one of the male cubs when she would be older. Her mother was very proud of her when it became clear she would become a very beautiful lioness.
However, one day the Jungle Pride had a visitor. A young male lion came to them and challenged the pride leader. He won, and the old leader was exiled. Instead of killing all the cubs though, he said he would let them all live and grow up, and the pride slowly accepted him. The new leader often remained with the cubs at the den when the pride went to hunt.
It was one of these times when the leader noticed Meri, and decided that once she would be old enough she would become a fine queen. Meri's mother realized something was up, and she told that her daughter was taken. The new leader became furious, and one time when he was alone at the den taking care of the cubs, he killed them. Meri was frightened, and in frustration the young leader hit her and scarred her face.
Meri's mother had left the hunt early and came to the den now, and attacked the leader. She told Meri to run, and she did so. She is still on the run, and fears she is still pursued by her old pride.
