Isha's fur is light golden with a slightly lighter belly and feet. The tip of her tail is black. She has a long tuft of golden hair growing on her head that she usually keeps on the rights side of her face (doesn't usually cover eyes). She has very large ears (for spotting prey and to dissipate heat) and a very small muzzle. Her fur is fluffy (to deflect heat during day and to keep warm during night), and thick fur covers her paw pads completey (to allow her to walk on hot sand). Her eyes are light blue.
Her height from ground to shoulder is 20 cm, the length of her body is around 37 cm, and the tail length is about 15 cm. Her weight is around 1.3 kilograms.
Behaviour:
Isha is very curious, and seems to be almost always full of energy. This might be annoying towards others, but what she tries to do is just to be friendly to everyone (and have fun). Unlike other fennecs, she is also rather active during the day time (this shall be explained in the “History” area).
Eating Habits:
Isha (like all other fennecs) is an omnivore, meaning that she eats both other animals and plants. What she eats most of the time are rodents, insects, lizards, birds, and bird eggs. Most of the water she needs she gets from what she eats, but sometimes she eats also berries and leaves to get water. She can survive for a long time without drinking, but if there is water nearby, she’ll surely go and drink.
History:
Isha was born into a small group of fennecs that lived on an area that was becoming a desert. This didn’t bother any member of the fennec group, for they loved the deserts. But when Isha had become an adolescent, a disaster came during one evening before the night time.
A small river near their Den suddenly flooded rapidly, and the holes the fennecs had dug into the sand were filled with water. Isha was lucky enough to escape, and only because she had woken up a bit earlier than the other fennecs.
Isha left her home area to escape from the river (and the sad feeling of losing her family and friends) and started to become more active on the day time than the night time. Sometimes, when she sleeps, she has nightmares where she goes through again what happened when her home tunnels started to become filled with water.
