"What supplies do you think we'll need, exactly?"
Tearia thought for a moment while still working on her flute. It was forming out nicely so far.
"Rope, for sure", she said. "You never know what you could use that for, and there should be plenty of it available just in case. Then I think we might need some kind of tools. You know, for breaking chains, picking locks... That kind of stuff."
She paused as she once again blew on her flute. The sound was clear, and she smiled happily that she had managed to get it to this point so quickly.
"We might wanna get some extra clothing, or at least blankets. We don't want anyone to freeze during the nights, do we? Oh, and writing supplies for you."
She frowned. "Can you think of anything else we might need?"

Vukasin wasn't sure what they would need the rope for. He couldn't think of any situation where they might need it, but he did know it was pretty handy. It'll be of use for something. The other stuff made sense though, but he didn't know how to pick locks or anything.
Tearia blew into the flute again, but this time it made a nice sound rather than a loud squeak. It seemed she was almost done with it now.

Vukasin thought for a moment, but nothing came to mind.
"Not at the moment. Something might come to me while we're in the next village."

"Not at the moment. Something might come to me while we're in the next village."
Tearia nodded as a reply while she finished measuring the hole distances on the flute. Only the finger holes needed to be made, and the flute would be playable. She intended to fix its looks later, with time. Tonight she could survive with her other flutes - if she needed them.
"We need something to do while we wait for the inn to somewhat settle down", she said, putting her tools and the work-in-progress flute away.
"I was thinking of taking a quick look at the wanted posters... I haven't seen either of our faces, not outside Daishtan and Kelast, but I'm curious of what kinda people got the new king's attention."

"Alright," Vukasin said as he stood up, "Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, and we have nothing else to do."

Tearia nodded as she began to lead them towards the town again. She thought that the most likely location for the posters to be in was in the middle of the town. She made sure to lead them there through streets that were less busy, knowing well that neither of them would be too fond of a crowd.
And then they finally arrived, and she stopped to stand in front of the wooden sign on which the posters had been attached to.
"See anyone familiar?" she asked quietly while going through the posters.

"See anyone familiar?"
"No, I don't know anyone outside the mines aside from you."
Looking through the posters, he saw that most of the people were wanted for murders or other crimes, but he didn't come across anything too special.
"Found anyone who's wanted for something a little more uncommon?"

"Found anyone who's wanted for something a little more uncommon?"
Tearia was staring at one of the posters with a disbelieving frown.
"No... But check this out. This 'Kaden' fellow's got a bigger bounty on his head than the rest. Says he committed a few murders and insulted someone who works for the new king."
She shook her head.
"Must've really pissed someone off to get the bounty that high. I wouldn't wanna be the unfortunate one who has to travel with him - assuming he travels with anyone."

"He gets bounty for insulting someone? That's pretty lame. If people got bounty's for insults then the entire world be be in jail."
"Must've really pissed someone off to get the bounty that high. I wouldn't wanna be the unfortunate one who has to travel with him - assuming he travels with anyone."
"I don't see why he would. Who would want to travel with him when he has a bounty so high? And how could they trust him after all the murders he seems to have done?"

"Escapes me. Anyway..."
She lowered her voice to a quiet murmur to prevent outsiders from hearing.
"At least our faces ain't showing up. That's a good thing, means we should be ok today during my performance."
She began to stroll away from the board of posters, humming a slight tune to herself. Then a thought came to her and she glanced at Vukasin.
"Any wishes for a story?" she asked. "I need to pick the subject for the song I'll play."

Vukasin knew that he didn't have a bounty on him, but knowing for sure helped him relax and made him less nervous about walking around the city.
Tearia then started walking away while humming to herself, so Vukasin followed.
"Any wishes for a story? I need to pick the subject for the song I'll play."
"No, I don't have any. I'm not the greatest when it comes to creativity."

Tearia chuckled.
"It doesn't have to be too creative", she said. "I just need a beginning, a base to build the story on. It'll develop as I perform."
She tilted her head, then shrugged.
"The base could be a great battle, or something as simple as an owl hunting a field mouse. I think once someone asked me to sing about how good his swift-footed horse was."

Vukasin took a a few moments to think about something for Tearia to use as a "base". After a little while, he had an idea.
"How about you sing about a wolf and a raven?"

"Why not?" Tearia replied with a laugh. "I think I can come up with something around that topic."
She grinned at Vukasin. "See? It wasn't so difficult after all, was it?"

"No, not really. I wouldn't come to me as a first choice for things that deal with creativity though."
"How long does it take you to come up with these songs?"

"How long does it take you to come up with these songs?"
Tearia shrugged and gave Vukasin a curious look. She wondered why he asked, but thought then that maybe he was just curious.
"Depends on the subject I suppose", she said. "My father taught me, and he improvised a lot. I just kind of go along with the flow and see where the story takes me. Sometimes when I travel I come up with new songs though, and then play them when I don't want to improvise."
She smiled at the memories of when she had been learning how to play various instruments, and how her father had been rather amused at her fondness towards flutes.
Then a thought occurred to her, and she turned to look at Vukasin with a lifted eyebrow.
"Would you want to learn?"

"Sure. It'll give us something to do while we wait until you can perform."
Tearia nodded in agreement.
"Ok, well, the first thing we need is an instrument for you."
She paused, thinking.
"I think we can skip flutes - for now at least. Father didn't get me started on them either. He was a harpist, so the first instrument I held was a harp. It was a start, and much easier to play than some of the flutes he taught me to craft later on."
She cringed. She hadn't touched a harp in a long time. They brought memories, and she wasn't ready to face them just yet.
"Lets find a shop", she said, changing the subject. "Father brought me here when I was a kid and there was a man who crafted instruments and sold them. Maybe you'll see something you want to try."

Vukasin could see Tearia's expression change as the topic moved to her father. She quickly changed to subject though, and Vukasin thought it best to not bring up her father in the future.
"Lets find a shop. Father brought me here when I was a kid and there was a man who crafted instruments and sold them. Maybe you'll see something you want to try."
Vukasin didn't know much about instruments, as most of his life was spent in the mines. He wasn't quite sure what to expect from this craftsman, but he was curious of what they'd find.

Tearia led them through the town, walking based on the faint memories from her childhood. She smiled when they arrived at the building at the edge of the town. It hadn't changed a bit.
She walked in and held the door open for Vukasin while glancing around the store. There were so many different instruments around that it gave her an excited feeling. If she had been on her own, she would have gone through them all, trying to see if there was something worth investing in.
However, she wasn't here to look for an instrument for herself, a fact which she remembered when the old shop keeper came in and asked if he could help.
"We're looking for something for my friend", Tearia explained with a smile, grateful that she had apparently grown enough that the shop keeper didn't recognize her.

As they entered the store Vukasin could see a large selection of different instruments. They all looked so different and so interesting. He looked around at all of them as if he were a child.
"We're looking for something for my friend"
"I don't even know where to start." He said, speaking to both Tearia and the shopkeeper
