(Ignore the wolf form shown in the picture, I don’t intend to use that right now, and definitely not in same RP with raven and human shapes.)
Tearia has very pale skin despite the fact that she spends most of her time outdoors. Her hair is, strangely enough, dark blue. She wears the hair tied up on a loose ponytail. Her right ear has been torn badly, which is why she hides both of her ears under her hair. She also has two raven feathers attached to her ponytail, taken from her raven form. She has bright blue eyes, and a scar-like marking going across her left eye. The marking is assumed to be a tattoo, though she was born with it.
Her clothes are different shades of purple, and they don’t seem like the ideal type of clothing for living outdoors. The short, hooded cloak she has can’t really be even called a cloak since it doesn’t even quite reach her elbows, so it provides little warmth. Her dress is no better, as it seems to be sleeveless and of quite thin material – possibly silk. Aside from these, she has trousers made of the same material as her cloak, and black leather gloves and boots.
She carries a few small bags on her belt, though their contents might not seem that valuable. On one of the bags she has small, claw-like metal accessories that she can use as weapons on her raven form. Another of the bags has a few small instruments, such as a few different types of flutes. There is also a small knife in one of the bags, though it’s more for every day use rather than protection. For dangerous situations she carries two thin swords on her back.
As a raven, she looks otherwise like a normal raven with the exception of her blue eyes and face marking.
Abilities:
Animal shape: She can take the form of a raven.
Reflexes: She can see a few seconds to the future, giving the illusion of extremely fast reflexes.
Double jump: She can jump higher than normally by double jumping in mid air. She does this with pure concentration, though she can’t do several double jumps in a row. When double jumping, there is an illusion of two, very transparent raven wings on her back. The wings would be more apparent if she wore a longer cloak, but with the cloak she usually has they’re barely noticeable.
Light energy: She can create and control glowing energy around herself. Most often she uses it while she performs, either creating shapes out of the light or simply making it swirl in random patterns. The other use for it is in battles. While it’s not lethal, it can cause burns.
Personality:
She does her best to avoid crowds, and only visits towns or villages when in desperate need. She enjoys performing though, and sometimes plays music, sings or tells stories in inns to get some gold or food. Most of the time she appears calm and carefree, and is exceptionally good at hiding her true emotions. She can take jokes, even sometimes jokes back, mostly with a mischievous grin. If she ever gets truly angry with anyone, though, it is difficult to calm her down, and even more difficult to get her forgiveness as she does know how to hold a grudge.
History:
Tearia never knew her mother, and grew up travelling across the country with her father. Her father was a bard, and from him Tearia learned how to sing, dance and play a several different instruments. Flutes were always her favourites, and she quickly learned to craft them on her own from materials that she found from the wild.
Tearia enjoyed travelling with her father. However, it all changed on the first time she visited Kelast. A local baron saw her, and approached her father with a plan to buy her from him. Her father refused, and enraged the baron had him killed and Tearia captured. She became a slave, told to amuse the baron and his friends with her music. Her ear was torn to mark her new status. She wasn’t happy with her situation at all, and ended up being rather disobedient.
Eventually, the baron got tired of her and had her sent to Daishtan, where she would serve in the mines. She isn’t sure how long time passed in the mines, but eventually she discovered her natural ability to change shapes. She fled and spent quite a while as a raven, feeding on what ever she could find. Eventually, when she felt strong enough, she returned to Kelast, sought out her old “master” and killed him as a revenge for what he had done. She has been fleeing since, and her raven form has saved her skin several times when she has almost been caught.
