Tsk tsk, Genie.  Also, technically, if you have paid for the lisence of a program (or an OS), you can download the installation legally no matter where you download it. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to reinstall the OS on my netbook at all, since the little bastard doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, nor do I actually even have a disk with Windows installation. Yay for bootable USBs. Also, I should be finishing a portfolio for one course, but I can't be bothered since it's so nice and warm outside. <3 |

I think it's important to understand that torrenting and other means of downloading is not illegal. It's downloading things you haven't paid for that is illegal. |

yes it should't be... though apple are bunch are nazi's saying you don't have right to use macos if its not running on a pc they sold (regardless of if you bought macos)... and of course i've heard of people having re-install problems even on apple sold pc

They also have a policy that instead of letting the user decide what they want to do with their product, they decide it for you. Kind of how they decided that f it, you don't need a CD/DVD drive, lets take it out. and of course i've heard of people having re-install problems even on apple sold pc My class mate's girl friend busted her macbook when it was doing regular updates. She didn't do anything, the updates just messed up the whole thing and she pretty much lost everything she had on it. Got a replacement, not that it did much good for the lost files. Also right now, I should be doing absolutely nothing!  With all things I need to do done, I'm completely free for the moment! |
