Guess who's got some more drawings to show! ;D ^ I need to scan those... And a few other drawings that aren't shown there. ^ Uni work. We had to make our own version of an existing work of art, and I decided to remake my old attempt with the Finnish artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela's Lemminkäisen äiti (Lemminkäinen's Mother). Looks much better than the version I drew sometime around 2005 or so. xD Also, some more uni work, this time related to that restorative design project I've mentioned a few times. These are the final presentation images for the idea (and I swear I'll never draw birches again... <.<) I should also mention that I already hate these drawings, but the dead-line is tomorrow and I'm far too annoyed with them to draw any more of this kinda drawings. :'D

You have no idea how glad I am to hear that. Those restorative design drawings especially were giving me a headache, not to mention that my scanner decided to be an idiot and eat the colours. <.< At least I can give the teacher the real drawings next week when we're supposed to turn in a report and portfolio from that course. xD

Minecraft art counts right? This is a football field my brother and I made. JADE is just all the middle initials of all my brothers put together in order of our age.

I continued this art project last Monday. :3 Basically sketched the painting on the canvas, then blocked out the flat colours with acrylics. That flamingo is too bring pink for my taste, but I can still change that so it's OK. My teacher's super thrilled about the whole idea, and that's just so awesome considering I've never really done any TLK related artwork on any art lessons before.

Sneaking in to give an update on that painting I've been working on. :3 It's finished. I've also started the other assignment for that course, which is a portrait. Mine will be of Garrus Vakarian from the Mass Effect game series. So far it looks like this: Needs a lot of work still... The cheeks and mandibles are a pain in the butt to paint. Aand lastly, here's a little something I painted as a gift for a friend of mine. It's of her norrbottenspets Nappi.

Thanks. And I have no idea as of yet. The critique is next autumn, so we shall see when the time comes. :3

Hm, I suppose I could post these pictures here since I started with the uni artwork. Here's the finished version of Garrus Vakarian's portrait: And also a little extra I did for that drawing and painting course: The shoes were fun to paint. My teacher laughed when he saw them, and said something along the lines that using something like shoes as a "canvas" is exactly what he likes to see. xD Good for me, I suppose. In the end I got a full 5 out of that course (since we arranged the critique for last month after all), so I'm very happy with the result. :3 Aside from those, I haven't really gotten that much done art-wise. I'll get back to it when I've got more to show.

they all look really cool. I've got hand painted Alice in Wonderland Canvas sneakers from usa. must scotch guard them to protect the painting.

I don't mind if the paint in these shoes of mine is damaged too much. The shoes were cheap to begin with, and I doubt they'll last very long when I actually start to wear them more. xD And Genie, I'm afraid the fixation started already while I played the first game. I think I dragged him with me on just about every mission on my first play through of the three games. xD Plus that voice! XD

This is a project of mine from two years ago. Me and my dad had a bet back then, and as a result I got to paint his Lada Samara. :3 Damn good car, and sure as hell now stands out from the rest with the two dragons on its sides. xD What I did here was basically just paint in the scales (individually, with a brush). The flat colours have been there for two years, just waiting for me to finish the work. Hopefully I will before uni continues again. xD

Ok so here's a picture I did for my drawing class. This was my first assignment. I'm supposed to draw my hand and a bunch of shapes with different size and value to show balance. Also, since my teacher is teaching a bunch of music students, he tried to tie in music by telling us to have a band/artists name in the picture. You'll never guess who I chose.
