Not my type. They have too much repeatable bass beat .I like "Waves", but I wouldnt listen to others. Although I like a few songs from every genre there is. So I cant just say I dislike techno for this example.

lol an Aussie ban.. one of Dakota's favourites. She took me to see them in concert years ago before they broke up.
Nice pic of you there DJ. Your mix I thought would be more like Tiesto, the background 'cleaner', but sounds cool.

lol yes. Savage garden. I used to hear their music on the radio back when I was little. Then totally forgot about them. Then last year when I went to Disney World, it was late at night and I heard "I Want You" playing somewhere in the distance while I was soaking in the hot tub. I decided I wanted to do a remix of that song but Iv searched for an acapella version for so long, I don't even think its possible to get it unless I ask Columbia records for it. So I settled for The Animal Song. Yeah I know what you mean by 'cleaner'. But Tiesto hasn't always had such 'clean' backgrounds in his music. Listen to some of his older stuff. He used to make trance. And I'm still working on getting good at mastering.  I may make changes to the song as I get better at mixing and mastering my tracks. I can already think of a couple things I need to do to it to make it sound better.  |

Ok. I'v finally gotten my song up on youtube and soundcloud. But for some reason, youtube butchered the quality. For those of you who have more experience with uploading to Youtube, is there a way to fix this? This was my Balloon Party submission that didn't make the cut. Anyway. Here's the youtube... Youtube isn't known for it's quality, especially for electronic music seeing as it takes out almost all of the sub bass. |
